Ambassador Desmond Akawor Refutes Claims He Masterminded Attacks On Supporters Of SDP In Oyigbo LGA: Read Full Article

The attention of the State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), His Excellency, Ambassador Desmond Akawor has been drawn to a fallacious report that he sponsored thugs to attack supporters of Sen. Magnus Abe in Oyigbo Local Government Area (LGA). Continue Reading

Aside the obvious fact that Ambassador Akawor is a man of peace, with numerous instances to buttress this, has on many occasion preached peace and advised that the votes will do the talking, a man famous for the quote, “In PDP we don’t have guns, we have God”, how then can he remotely be attached to an unholy act such as violence?
This is nothing but a calculated attempt to whip up sympathy, by enemies, whose outing was abysmal and are therefore, looking for an excuse to attach to their unpopularity. It goes without saying that in this time and age, people will resort to slandering, than galvanise support for their political party and candidate.

.

Ambassador Desmond Akawor considers this malicious approach, archaic, ill thought out and laughable, advising the perpetrators to desist from this despicable act, as it is a liable offence.

He therefore, advised the teeming supporters of the ONLY democratic party in Nigeria and Rivers State, the PDP, to not be distracted by the antics of small minded recusants and be focused at the task ahead, as the sole aim of the PDP, is the retain power in the state, peacefully and credibly.

As always every well meaning Rivers person is a supporter of PDP as a result of the countless landmark projects Governor Nyesom Wike has embarked upon across the state, why then should the State Chairman of the Governor’s party be bothered about social gathering that amounts to nothing. The people are behind Governor Nyesom Wike, the power remains with the people and the voice of the people, is the voice of God.
