Any Leader Who Fails To Impact Is Not A Leader Barr. K.K. Ubani

Barr. Kelechi Kenneth Ubani, the former Caretaker Chairman, Omuma Local Government Area posits that, “Any leader who fails to impact is not a leader”.

Ubani made this statement today at Chokocho, in Etche L.G.A Rivers State while addressing the trainers of Etche on a three day programme on youths and women empowerment.

The APC chieftain eulogised Ephraim for being a leader of impact and trajectory. According to Ubani, Chief Nwuzi attended to a spot which was in a deplorable condition along Etche-Omuma road through an intervention agency. Chief Ephraim has also given numerous assistance and fufilled some of the promises he made to his constituent.

‘Chief Nwuzi is teaching us how to fish through the process of making liquid soap, body spray, morning fresh among others daily needed materials for livelyhood. We therefore need to take this opportunity seriously, he said.

Barr. Blessing Amanze, who represented Hon. Empraim Nwuzi in her presentation asserts that, human capital development is his priority. According to her, these includes, job opportunities, improvement of standard of living, provision of social amenities through intervention agencies, to build own industries for the self reliance. He promised to continue a legislative empowerment for cultural sustainable purposes.

Also speaking, Mrs Blessing, representing National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO) and Prof. Omorebe, The guest lecturer who spoke separately insisted that, the participants should maximise the impact provided by the Institute and the Member representing Etche/Omuma Federal Constituency. They listed the importance of youth and women in the population of Nigeria. They also maintained that empowering youths and women will not only improve the economy but increase cultural and creative industry since globalization has liberalized culture, opened opportunities and placed value to them.

The participants while dancing to this epoch making event and impact sang that, Hon. Ehraim should continue to lead since his character and leadership style are synonymous with the cultural practices of Etche land.

In his good will message, Engr. J. O. Amaechi Ph.D thanked and encouraged Hon. Ephraim Nwuzi to continue to impact on his people positively. He prayed God to ascend him more higher.

Highlights of the event are presentation of certificates, distribution materials to the beneficiaries, dances, group photographs and chants of joy,
‘Hon. Ephraim Nwuzi chiiba nyi ooh! Mbo mboo’.

The programme has the THEME ‘Cultural Industry, Youth and Women for Sustainable Development’.
