Context
- As an organization, we work across several sectors and make small wins every day. This assignment will enable us to properly document these wins and carry our stakeholders along.
Task Description
- We are looking for two online volunteers to support us in writing at least two articles each every month for the next three months. The articles will focus on telling stories about our work and impact.
Required Experience
- Volunteers must have a very strong command of the English language.
- This task requires strong writing and editing skills.

- The volunteers will be joining our backend developer and DevOp developer to complete the development of the web platform students.
- The platform is being developed to contribute to the skills development of young people in Africa to make them more employable after graduating from school.
Task Description
- We are looking for two volunteers to help us develop the frontend of our new website using React framework.
- The website is to connect students to online internship opportunities.
- We will communicate with volunteers primarily through email and Slack.
- The volunteer will work in a team with other online volunteers.
- The website should be user and mobile-friendly. We will provide the volunteers with all the necessary information.
Required Experience:
- Volunteers should be highly experienced in frontend development with React.

Description of Assignment Title: Re-structure a web platform built with Python
Sustainable Development Goal: Quality Education
Context
- The platform was designed to recruit experienced working professionals to teach subjects that are missing in community schools.
- This is in a bid to bridge the teachers’ gap that exists in low resource community schools. This assignment is to redesign the platform to meet the current demands created by the Cpvid19 pandemic.
- The volunteers would work on making changes to both frontend and backend, and more importantly, incorporate live teaching features into the platform.
Task description
- We are in need of online volunteers to help re-structure our web platform built with Python.
- The web platform was designed to recruit working professionals as volunteer teachers in low resource community schools. It was working fine until the COVID19 pandemic happened and we now have a strong need to re-structure the platform so that volunteers can teach virtually instead of going to the school physically.
- The online volunteers will help in adding a new feature to the platform that allows the volunteer teachers to teach from anywhere in the world.
Required experience
- A Degree in IT or a related field is considered an asset but not required.
- The volunteers must have experience in full-stack web development using Python.
- Candidates are encouraged to include examples of their previous work in the application.
