Asita Congratulates Paul Adalikwu On Election As Secretary General Of The Maritime Organization Of West And Central Africa

The Chairman, Governing Board of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Rt. Hon. Asita Honourable applauds the Director, Maritime Safety and Security in the Federal Ministry of Transportation and Member of the Governing Board of NIMASA, Dr. Paul Adalikwu, on his election as Secretary-General of the Maritime Organization of West and Central Africa (MOWCA).
Asita describes the unanimous election of Dr. Adalikwu, the first Nigerian to head the 25 member states maritime organization in its 45 years of existence, as a testament of his diligence, purposeful and result-oriented disposition.
He expresses optimism in Dr. Adalikwu’s ability and capacity to religiously discharge the duties of his new office and take the West and Central Africa Maritime body to enviable heights in line with its core mandate of promoting maritime trade, safer seaways and improved shipping activities amongst it’s member states and beyond.
Asita thanks the Minister of Transportation, H.E. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and the Ministry for according Dr. Adalikwu all the necessary support required to achieve this historic victory. He wishes Dr. Adalikwu well in his new assignment while urging him to bring to bear his years of experience, professionalism and tact in piloting the affairs of the body.
