Job Title: Manager – Pharmacist
Location: Enugu

Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing procurement, warehousing, distribution, logistics, and supply management activities of the Support to Malaria Elimination Project in the targeted community-based project to promote and strengthen the delivery of malaria prevention and treatment services in Enugu State.
- Ensure the availability of quality-assured malaria prevention and treatment commodities.
- Responsible for leading the design and implementation of capacity-building interventions for the project staff and partners.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
- Master’s Degree in Pharmacy / Public Health / Supply Chain Management with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Demonstrated experience in Procurement, warehousing, distribution, logistics and supply management.
- Familiar with Donor funded procurement, warehousing, and supply planning.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written) in English.
- Knowledge of other Nigerian languages is an added asset
Job Title: Clinical Care Program Lead
Location: Enugu

Job Overview
- The Clinical Care Program Lead will support coordinating the targeted community-based project to promote and strengthen the delivery of malaria prevention and treatment services in Enugu State to ensure that the project is well-organized, completed on time, and within budget.
- S/He will also significantly contribute to the project’s success by delivering technical assistance and providing subject matter expertise and support.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, plan, and manage the support for the malaria program in the State.
- Coordinate key program strategies and results for the project.
- Overall monitoring and analysis of the program environment and advice on timely readjustments of strategies and activities.
- Identify new areas of support and facilitate the implementation of new initiatives.
- Close communication with all stakeholders and promotion of the project’s mandate; provide recommendations and program/policy advice based on results.
- Liaise with government and civil society counterparts.
- Organize and participate as a resource person in advocacy meetings, roundtables, training workshops, and other meetings related to specific malaria prevention issues.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate technical reports and other materials relating to the project.
- Represent the project in technical forums.
- Provide technical support for weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual project performance reviews.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (Public Health / Epidemiology / Medicine / Nursing / Parasitology / Tropical Medicine) with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and management of malaria programming in developing countries including Nigeria.
- Experience in African countries will be an asset.
- Strong knowledge and experience in delivering or providing technical assistance for the diagnosis and management of uncomplicated and complicated/severe malaria and prevention including Intermittent Preventive Treatment to pregnant women (IPTp) in accordance with the most current national protocols and treatment regimens.
- Familiarity with analytical tools and ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical approaches for operational work.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) in English. Knowledge of other Nigerian languages will be an asset.
Job Title: Grievance Redress Mechanism Manager
Location: Enugu

Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in conflict resolution, including setting up grievance mechanisms and negotiating solutions including expertise in participatory approaches to conflict resolution.
- Support the identification and resolution of social risks and issues related to conflicts over land use, natural resources management, and services provision/utilization.
- Provide technical assistance on the World Bank Operational policies and Grievance Redress guidelines.
- Work with the project team in litigating conflicts arising from natural resources conflicts with an understanding of legislative processes and legal systems of Nigeria.
- Perform high-level legal analysis through different legal analytical frameworks, policy and socio-economic analysis, and social and environmental.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Interested candidate should possess a minimum of a graduate Degree in relevant Social Sciences or equivalent with at least 5 years of practical experience in national and/or international environmental and social safeguard assessments. A Postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
- Other competence and experience include: Good understanding and/or experience working with government institutions in Nigeria, expertise in conflict resolution, including setting up grievance mechanisms and negotiating solutions, expertise in participatory approaches to conflict resolution, specialization in social risks and issues related to conflicts over land use, natural resources management, and services provision/utilization, understanding of traditional or customary means of conflict resolution and/or grievance redress at the service provision/utilization and at the community levels in Nigeria.
- Understanding of the project development objective and Implementation, understanding of World Bank Operational policies and Grievance Redress guidelines, experience in litigating conflicts arising from natural resources conflicts, understanding of legislative processes and legal systems of Nigeria, experience in high-level legal analysis through different legal analytical frameworks, solid experience in policy and socio-economic analysis, experience in social and environmental assessment and in the application of safeguards policies, and understanding of Nigeria’s institutional system and actors.

- The Manager – Health Care Waste Management (HCWM) will support the targeted community-based project to promote and strengthen the delivery of malaria prevention and treatment services in Enugu State by providing technical assistance in performing hazardous/HCWM for programs/projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in the preparation of HCWM technical instruments recognized by the World Bank specific to the Nigerian context.
- Support the program by developing training manuals or other training documents specifically on hazardous/HCWM.
- Provide guidance on program implementation for World Bank safeguard policies in hazardous/HCWM activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Degree in Environmental or Medical Sciences or any other science course with master’s degree in any of these courses (Public Health, Environmental/Medical Sciences, or any other relevant courses) and at least five (5) years of progressive experience in HCWM.
- The consultant is expected to have previous experience in the preparation of HCWM technical instruments recognized by the World Bank, strong country knowledge and of World Bank safeguard policies, experience in hazardous/HCWM activities.
- At least five years’ experience in developing training manuals or other training documents for programs/projects funded by multilateral agencies specifically on hazardous/HCWM, working experience in Nigeria or developing country under similar conditions.
- Good technical and organizational background in performing hazardous/HCWM for programs/projects, and ability to cooperate and interact with stakeholders including facilitating meetings and workshops.
