Job Title: MD Revenue Monitoring & Optimization Specialist

Role Purpose

  • This role is responsible for supporting the team in achieving the objectives to monitoring and optimizing revenue for MD customers.

Responsibilities

  • Retroactive billing and incremental revenue based on the concept of Feeder Management.
  • Tariff reclassification.
  • Generate monthly billing analysis exceptions as a proactive means to eliminate energy losses.
  • Supervise and monitor meter reading process and escalation of meter anomalies using curve data.
  • Routine Inspection and quick diagnosis of customer energy meter to detect energy theft.
  • Supervise Recertification of Maximum Demand meters to reduce Ikeja Electric ATC&C losses
  • Understand the processes involved in commissioning of installed Maximum Demand meters for billing purpose.
  • Supervise the Maintenance of Maximum Demand meters.
  • Data analysis with respect to the concept of feeder management.
  • Comply with Quality Management System / Occupational Health & Safety requirements including objectives and applicable regulations relating to assigned jobs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines – Engineering, Accountancy, Banking & Finance or other numerate discipline.
  • At least 6 years relevant work experience, from related sector/ organisation with demonstrable understanding of credit / debt management as well as managing key customer accounts.

Job Title: IT Risk & IT Control Supervisor

Location: Lagos

Role Purpose

  • A technical, process and detail-oriented IT risk and IT control supervisor to manage risks around IT operational processes and monitor IT controls over information assets. He will also perform detailed evaluation of information systems and track technology compliance with various standards.

Role Accountabilities

  • Provide support to ensure that comprehensive risk assessments are performed for all the organizations’ information assets, supporting technical infrastructure and associated service and support processes, electronic banking products and services and supporting platforms/technologies.
  • Provide support to ensure that comprehensive and effective risk treatment plans are developed and maintained for the organizations’ information assets, supporting technical infrastructure, and electronic payments applications, services and platforms.
  • Work with the relevant teams on effective identification, assessment, treatment, monitoring, recording and reporting of risks relating to the IT environment and technology related assets or projects in the organisation. Proactively tracks such risks and treatments and escalates significant updates for management attention.
  • Support the IT Risk & IT Control Manager in:
    • Ensuring that a framework of policies, standards and procedures for information security and risk management are developed, implemented and maintained based on global best practices for information security management to protect the organizations’ information assets.
    • Ensuring the implementation of adequate and effective security controls and processes including data privacy and protection that will safeguard the availability, integrity and confidentiality of the organization’s information assets and technology infrastructure.
    • Ensuring effective coordination/implementation support of all information security projects and initiatives including BCP/DRP relating to IT environment.
    • Developing and implementing awareness programmes and campaigns to promote information security consciousness and compliance across the organization.
    • Developing and implementing a process for achieving and maintaining compliance with the ISO 27001 international standard for Information Security Management
  • Identify weaknesses within the organization’s information systems and infrastructure and suggest innovative measures to mitigate the risks that impact business objectives.
  • Assess system control effectiveness and adequacy for the day-to-day running of business systems, processes, and application controls.
  • See to it that system controls that meet business requirements are embedded at all levels of system development/acquisition life cycle (SDLC).
  • Monitor system controls to ensure that segregation of duties in all business systems and IT infrastructure at all times by enforcing maker-checker controls for greater accountability
  • Under the supervision of the IT Risk and IT Control Manager, coordinate and collaborate with various departments within the organization to formulate, implement and disseminate company-wide policies and standards for ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets.
  • Prepare IT risk and IT control reports under the supervision of the IT Risk and IT Control Manager.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the line manager.

Minimum Requirements

Job Title: RPE Business Analyst

Role Purpose

  • This role is responsible for providing support in the areas of performance monitoring, analytics and reporting within the Business Unit with the aim of driving operational efficiency of Ikeja Electric.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement creative performance reporting template tracker for the Business Units.
  • Monitor and assist in setting targets and KPIs for members of the Business unit RPE team and design actionable reports to improve cash collection drive and boost performance.
  • Collate and interpret data from various sources such as: NMD Metering, NMD Support, QAQC and other units within and outside the commercial department, and analyze results using statistical techniques to guide business decision and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Generate periodic commercial reports (daily, weekly and monthly) such as energy recovery performance report, customer response rate report; unauthorized access reports etc.; as may be required by the Management team.
  • Ensure compliance in the usage of the Estimated Billing Methodology (EBM), with the use of clamp-on meters / Energy Accounting Policy (EAP) for billing delinquent customers.
  • Develop Business Intelligence tools that help drive and monitor collection activities.
  • Coordinate monthly performance review for the Unit.
  • Assist to prepare periodic trend analysis for energy recovered, billed and resulting revenue recovered across the Business Units.
  • Identify, analyze and interpret collection / billing efficiency, customer delinquency trends or patterns based on past or historical performance of the Business Unit.
  • Develop & monitor processes & policies that ensures the integrity of data and compliance to procedures & SLAs within the unit
  • Assist with identifying and analyzing all potential energy leakages from customer metering / Distribution Transformers (DTs).
  • Responsible for the development of units SLAs, NMD and MD, ensuring they are adhered to by all stakeholders.
  • Ensuring SOPs are adhered to and escalate delinquent team members to unit Management for sanctions.
  • Responsible for tracking monthly consumption trend viz-a-viz availability to uncover possible revenue leakage for both MD & NMD customers.
  • Ensure the tracking and monitoring of the electricity consumption patterns of customers within the network.
  • Comply with Quality Management System / Occupational Health & Safety requirements including objectives and applicable regulations relating to assigned jobs.
  • Assist in Carry out any other duties as requested by the Head, RPE.
