Davies gives glory to God almighty, thanks party faithfuls for there support during the recently concluded party primaries

Dearly beloved Party men & women, Rivers people, I sincerely appreciate everyone of you who stood by me through the internal family elections of our great party the All Progressives Congress (APC). I appreciate your prayers, wise counsel, suggestions, advice, financial and moral supports. I appreciate your phone calls showing concern for my spiritual and mental health. The Body of Christ in the State went on overdrive. Did God not answer your prayers? He did. He did in innumerable and immeasurable ways. To Him be the glory.
I have always lived all my life to give all thanks to God Almighty in all situations and circumstances. I thank God Almighty for how the process went peacefully and successfully in the just concluded Governorship Primaries of the APC in Rivers State. The doomsday prophets were greatly disappointed.
I thank God for giving us a Congress which brought about the emergence of my brother Pastor Arc. Tonye Patrick Cole as the winner and the Standard Bearer of our Party the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State for the forthcoming Governorship election in 2023.
Majority of you clamoured that I presented myself for the contest to salvage the good people of Rivers State, which by the grace of God and the leave of the leadership, especially the foremost Leader of the Party, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi CON, in conjunction with the support of my family, far and near, I did.
Now, irrespective of the fact that I couldn’t come out to canvas for your votes and even those of my immediate LGA, Degema LGA, you expressed your love and support. And as is usually and aptly said, the rest is now history and *we give God all the Glory*.
I use this medium to Congratulate my Brother Pastor Arc. Tonye Patrick Cole on his emergence. The fight is a joint one to salvage the good people of Rivers State from the sorry situation we have found ourselves in the hands of the current Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, administration. We have to jointly rescue the State in the current political and administrative malfeasance in the name of governance. The current unacceptable leadership anomalies must be corrected as the opportunity comes on Saturday, 11th March 2023.
Be rest assured I will join arsenals with my brother Pastor Arc. Tonye Cole to make sure the All Progressives Congress (APC) comes out victorious in the coming general elections by God’s grace. I am not given to put my hands in plough to pull back. The wellbeing of the Party and its members have always occupied the front burner in my political life. The return and repositioning of the State to the enviable height it fell from, which the immediate past Minister of Transportation and Leader of the Party, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi CON, started as Governor that has been bastardised in the name of political expediency must be restarted. This is a time for all hands to be on deck. This is not a time to talk of winners and losers. Nothing has been won and nothing has been lost until the march to *The Brick House* is actualised on Monday, 29 May 2023.
