Job Title: Boiler Operator

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

• To check regular pumping of over head tank water
• Ensure water in the boiler preheated tanks
• Ensures your sight glass are always clean from dirt
• Ensure your automatic feed water pumps are functional
• Ensure water treatment chemicals are dosed into the boiler tubes; ensure water valve are properly opened when firing your boiler
• Evaluate the condition of the boiler and contact the maintenance team for repairs; ensure periodic check on water level indicator
• Generate enough steam for production processes sections
• Ensure boiler furnace has no fire after closing of production
• Shut off steam realise valve to production floor after processing
• Do daily, weekly and monthly maintenance checks on boiler.
• Ensure compliance with Health and safety procedures

Requirements

• HND in Mechanical Engineering or any related course
• 2-3 years operating a similar machine in a related industry.
• Having a certification or license is an added advantage.

Job Title: Clarification Operator

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

• To ensure smooth running of all clarifier equipment, daily routine checks on lubrications; operate and process according to specification, standard and operating procedures.
• To ensure productions are carried out in company’s policies and processing of quality CPO output to the storage tanks.
• To ensure all steam valves are short off after production.
• To perform housekeeping and work area organisation tasks.
• To identify faulty equipment while in operation and report accordingly to production supervisor.
• To carry out all aspects of line changeover with minimum downtime.
• To ensure that production plan is completed in time.
• Ensuring that enough steam is been passed to the C/S tank and all heating tanks for efficient extraction rate.
• Maintain activity logs
• Any other duties delegated by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• OND in a technical discipline
• 2-3 years operating a similar machine in a related industry.
• Having a certification or license is an added advantage.

Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

• To ensure all palm products are manufactured within recommended company standard.
• To ensure that mill runs at the highest possible processing efficiency.
• To ensure that the best manufacturing practice are followed at all times
• To Compile all daily, weekly, monthly production report.
• To initiate and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between workers.
• To schedule employee shift and keep track of employee time.
• To maintain work flow by monitoring steps of the process settling processing variables; observing control points and equipment; to monitor personnel and resources; implement cost reductions; facilitating corrections to malfunctions with process control points.
• To ensure safe work environment and good housekeeping to avoid infractions on statutory regulations
• To enforce company policies and guidelines to team.
• To ensure that production plans are completed by a certain time.
• To train and operate equipment according to specifications and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• HND in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or related course.
• 2 – 3 years cognate experience in related field.
• Palm Oil refining and fractionation experience.
• Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have excellent leadership qualities.
• Have strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
• Have sound Mechanical abilities.
