Giadom roars, APC Tonye Cole/Barikor overrun Gokana LGA

The All Progressives Congress campaign rally may have disappointed the thuggery attacks on opposition patties at campaign rallies as the All Progressives Congress celebrated like an election victory to a tumultuous reception in Gokana LGA thursday in her State campaign rally.
The party leaders in the area and National Vice Chairman South South Chief Victor Tombari Giadom quickly took a swipe at Governor Nwike of the PDP on his comments recently in Gokana.
Giadom slammed Gov. wike of a palpable ignorance for neither remembering or recognizing some of the projects he embarked upon while serving as the Executive Chairman of Council.

He went further to remind Nwike that he has executed over eighty-five laudable projects while in office as chairman in Council.

He said” I have executed more projects in Gokana more than Nwike and all the serving members of his cabinet from in almost eight years if his tenure”

.

He also went ahead and said, Gokana is for APC and will vote massively for the APC because of the monumental achievements he has brought to the LGA. Giadom assured that Gokana would vote all APC candidates beginning with Presidential Candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the House of Assembly Candidate Amb Anthony Biragbara.

According to how t happened,  the  APC Governorship Candidate Tonye Patrick Cole challenged PDP candidate “Sim Fubara” to come out for a debate on what qualifies him to manage the vast wealth of Rivers State accusing him of being a political place holder for Nwike’s third term agenda.

He accused Gov. wike for his arrant arrogance and timid form of imposing brut force to govern a peaceful people endored with enormous wealth.

He assured Ogoni people that his government would create wealth for the teeming Rivers Youth ravaged in abject poverty because of bad government.

He added ” I will use my wealth of experience doing business with global entrepreneurs, world leaders to attract investors into our economy”.

After speaking to the people of Gokana, the Senatorial Candidate Amb. Ngofa told the large crowd that Ogoni desire quality representation while nothing that the ethnic nationality desire to push further for the actualization of the Ogoni bill of rights. He assured that Ogonis will never lag behind to initiate and contribute to quality representation again while accusing Senator Barry Mpigi for being bench warmer in the red chamber.

Federal House of Reps Candidate Chief Eric Nwibani promised to leverage on the good will of the people to use the opportunity to touch the lives of his people.

Also in the campaign, Rivers State House of Assembly Candidate Amb Anthony Biragbara who was handed his flag by the State party Chairman Emeka Beke to represent Gokana people assured that he would ensure he would implement his four point legislative priorities to the letter when he assumes office to represent the people.

According to 12:12 network who was on ground reported that after several attempts by the opposition PDP to stifle and stop the APC from campaigning, the Bodo City venue of the campaign turned into a carnival like celebration. The presence of the security made it all too difficult for hudlums to traffick their violent intents.

The APC paraded their best candidates from the South East Senatorial District Amb. Oji Ngofa, Khana/ Gokana Federal Constituency House of Reps Candidate Chief Eric Nwibani, Governorship Candidate Architect Pastor Tonye Cole and deputy Dr. Innocent Barikor and Hon. Amb. Anthony Biragbara Gokana Constituency Candidate Rivers State House of Assembly to a thumping cheers of joy.

The campaign train took a door to door campaign to Yeghe, K Dere and a brief ceremony to formally open the the campaign office of the House Assembly Candidate Amb Anthony Biragbara in ward 12 Biara.

Earlier the campaign council paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Ruler of Gokana kingdom Gberemene in Council and acting Chairman of Rivers Council of Traditional Rulers HRH Chief Bagia who blessed the candidates.

The campaign team were then treated to another thunderous reception with music, dance and carnival when they moved to meet the people of Bomu Town home of the incoming deputy Governorship Candidate Dr. Innocent Barikor.
