The transformation, led by Dr. Stephen Akintayo, founder and former GCEO, is in line with the company’s strategic aspirations, including ambitious goals such as building one thousand homes in the United States and Nigeria .
Gtext Homes, a parent entity of Gtext Holdings, is known as Africa’s largest developer of smart and eco-friendly homes, with Dr. Akintayo moving into the role of Chairman.
At a recent meeting titled “Mentees Meet Investors” in Lagos, the company’s investors gathered alongside executives from various Gtext subsidiaries Holdings to discuss the company’s future strategy and vision.
Rana Ijaz Ahmad, appointed as GCEO, has over 25 years of diverse professional experience across industries including corporate and investment banking, fund management, hospitality, real estate and oil and gas in the Middle East and Europe.
Dr. Akintayo expressed his reasons for resigning from GCEO, stressing the need to attract institutional funding to meet its needs and expansion plans, especially for Gtext Homes and other subsidiaries of Gtext Holdings.
