I first met Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi as a law student in then Rivers State University of Science & Technology RSUST while he, Rt Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi was an already well established name at an the University of Port Harcourt.
Then, it was in the electioneering period and campaigns were on for Chief Dr. Rufus Ada-George. We were the student activists and there I was the spokesperson of the Student Union.
After that period, we met again as I came highly recommended to him (Rt. Hon. C. R. Amaechi) as one with a strong character to conduct a credible student union election. Then, Rt. Hon. C. R. Amaechi was in the Dr. Ada-George’s administration.
He gave me that responsibility and I delivered to the best of my ability and yours TRULY didn’t deliver below expectations.
Going on after then, we have been in mainstream politics together on the part to do service to the people as led by Rt. Hon. C. R. Amaechi.
This relationship have been over 30 yrs and it’s something beyond cordial of there is any adjective better than that.
