Job Title: Bursar

Job Description

• The Bursar shall be the Head of the Finance Department of the Polytechnic.
• The Bursar shall be responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day financial administration of the Polytechnic.
• The Bursar shall be responsible for preparing budget operations’ plans, and short and long-term investment plan.
• The Bursar shall coordinate the development and update of the Polytechnic Financial Management Plans.
• The Bursar shall ensure accurate records are kept on all local and foreign assets and liabilities held by the Polytechnic.
• The Bursar shall manage the polytechnic investment portfolio.
• The Bursar shall monitor and ensure prompt and effective production of audited accounts of the Polytechnic.

Requirements

• The Bursar shall possess professionally recognised accountancy qualifications and ten (10) years’ cognate experience plus a good First Degree with a minimum of second class lower division or Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least a lower credit in Accountancy or related field.
• In addition to the above qualifications, candidates are expected to demonstrate intellectual and excellent conduct in discipline, integrity and sound judgment.

Salary

• Salary is attractive and is as currently earned in any reputable polytechnic in the country, Nigeria.

Job Title: Registrar

Location: Igbajo, Osun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The Registrar of Igbajo Polytechnic, shall be responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day administrative activities of the polytechnic, except for financial matte which shall fall within the purview of the Bursar of the polytechnic.
• The Registrar shall be responsible for the effective management of human and other resources allocated to the Office of the Registrar. The Registrar shall provide input to policy and procedural deliberations, and to ensure the Polytechnic and faculty policies related to student admission and academic progress of the institution are followed.
• The Registrar shall coordinate academic records, students’ registrations and tak custody of academic transcripts.

Requirements

• The Registrar shall hold a First Degree with a minimum of second class lower division or High National Diploma (HND) with at least a lower credit in Social Science Education, Arts, Humanities and other related courses from a recognize Institution of Higher Learning.
• The Registrar shall have a minimum of fifteen (15 years post qualification cognate experience for First Degree and HND holders or Master’s Degree in relevant discipline with a minimum of ten (10) years post qualification cognate experience, or Doctorate Degree (Ph.D) in relevant discipline with a minimum of ten (10) years post qualification cognate experience.
• At least ten (10) years of which must have been gained in a Polytechnic or similar Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution.
• In addition to the above qualifications, candidates are expected to demonstrate intellectual and excellent conduct in discipline, integrity and sound judgment.
