Job Title: Assistant Cook
Location: Karsana District (After Gwarinpa), Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Description
- The cook is responsible for appropriately taking care of the kitchen, monitoring the preparation of food, and the orderliness of kitchen utensils.
Terms of Reference
- The position will be responsible for preparing a variety of Children friendly nutritional local and intercontinental dishes.
- Should ensure the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic.
- Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately. Sorting, storing, and distributing ingredients.
- Making a list of ingredients required on a monthly basis.
- Design weekly and monthly menu schedules as appropriate.
- Serve food to children (breakfast, lunch, and snacks) in the proper set.
- Responsible for consolidation and proper storage of food after meals.
- Carry dishes to and out of dining areas.
- Clean up after meals and ongoing cleaning to maintain the highest levels f sanitation in the kitchen.
- Beverage preparation i.e. bug juice, fruit juices, and Tea.
- Sweeping and mopping at the end of the day.
Qualification/Experience
- Minimum of SSCE
- Should hold training on kitchen/catering services
- Experience of precising and presenting information is desirable but not essential.
Job Title: Child Care Specialist
Location: Karsana District (After Gwarinpa), Abuja (FCT)

Terms of Reference
- Caring for Infants and toddler
- Preparing canned food, drinks and snacks for kids and ensuring that they are done with great personal hygiene.
- Monitoring and supervising children’s play actions.
- Changing of diapers and ensuring the child is clean at all times
- Teaching eating manners, clothing and behaviors to children.
- Providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere for overall development.
- Reading stories and teaching basic skills like singing, painting, writing and teaching various activities to engage their brains.
- Developed and supervised children during play activities for improving their physical fitness.
- Updated development of physical and mental development of children to the parents.
- Ensured that there is no threat of any kind to children in and around the facility and every child is taken care of.
- Taught children how to maintain hygiene and perform daily basic routines.
Qualification/Experience
- NCE (National Certificate in Education, OND obtained through full time studies
Job Title: Housekeeper – Cleaner
Location: Karsana District (After Gwarinpa), Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Terms of Reference
- Cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and waxing floors.
- Refilling supplies, such as toilet paper and paper towels.
- Cleaning spills and other messes up as quickly as possible.
- Performing maintenance activities related to cleaning such as ensuring bathrooms are sanitary.
- Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed.
- Must be resident around Kubwa, Dutse, or Gwarimpa.
Qualification / Experience
- Minimum of SSCE will be an advantage.
- Experience of cleaning is desirable.
Job Title: English Instructor (1 Full & 1 Part time)

Job Summary
- Responsible for instructing others about the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Assigns books and essays for pupils to read and teaches them how to identify themes, points of view, and other characteristics.
Primary Responsibilities
- Instruct pupils on interpreting literature.
- Assign books to be read.
- Help pupils interpret literature and poetry.
- Teach pupil about the structure and content of the English language, including proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.
- Teach about different literary styles.
- Create instructional resources for use in the classroom.
- Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities
- Create positive educational climate for pupils to learn in.
- Meet course and school-wide student performance goals.
- Create lesson plans and modify accordingly throughout the year.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in English, Linguistics, Education or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a teaching role.
- Deep understanding of the British/Nigerian curriculum and English language requirements.
Job Title: Driver
Location: Karsana District (after Gwarinpa), Abuja (FCT)

Job Description
- Driving children and staff daily to their desired destinations
- Maintaining the vehicle safe and clean
- Using navigation apps to determine the best route
Responsibilities
- Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
- Pick up kids from their homes and drive them home after school
- Obey all traffic rules and regulations
- Maintain the speed limit set by the institution
- Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic needed
- Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders
- Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues
- Assist in other jobs as will be directed by the supervisor.
Requirements
- SSCE and Basic English communication ability
- Proven experience as a Driver
- A valid driver’s license
- Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
- Familiarity with GPS devices
- Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
- Availability to occasionally take weekend shifts
- A polite and professional disposition
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour).
Job Title: Creative Arts Teacher
Location: Karsana District (After Gwarinpa), Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary
- The Art Teacher will be responsible for developing in each student an interest in and the ability for creative expression in visual terms, using skills and techniques of artistic expression consistent with school guidelines; to develop aesthetic understandings and appreciations; to discover and develop talents of students in the field of art.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach knowledge and skills in art, including drawing, painting, lettering, and art history
- Provide instruction by which students develop aesthetic concepts and appreciation and the ability to make qualitative judgments about art
- Demonstrate techniques in activities such as drawing and painting
- Understand the versatility of acrylic paints: dry brushing, staining, layering, underpainting
- Knows and can apply elements of modern principles of art.
- Provide individual and small-group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of students with varying intellectual and artistic abilities, and to accommodate a variety of instructional activities.
- Plan and present art displays and exhibitions designed to exhibit students’ work for the school.
- Participate in curriculum and other developmental programs, such as after-school art club.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in related Fine Art or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a teaching role.
