We are recruiting to fill the positions below:

Job Title: Construction Engineer

Responsibilities / Summary of Functions

  • Provide construction input to project planning through engineering phase to commissioning.
  • Assist with aspects of the project construction strategy, execution planning and contracting strategy
  • Prepare and review documents for approval to communicate installation sequence.
  • Prepare project specific site procedures and work practices as necessary to meet Client requirements
  • Provide Construction Engineering in accordance with project requirements and procedures.
  • Liaise with designers throughout the engineering phase to maximize the use of construction knowledge and experience in all aspects of the project paying particular attention to constructability.
  • Assist Engineering with construction feasibility and method studies.
  • Prepare and review for approval plans, drawings, specifications, and requisitions for all construction activities required within Project scope.
  • Prepare project specific procedures on construction execution, construction quality control and material management, as necessary to meet Projects requirements.
  • Review the project requirements, the constructability and assist with the drafting of construction execution plan and method statement.
  • Provide clarification on issues raised at site and communicate with the involved departments as necessary
  • Act as constructability sponsor at Projects level and the primary contact regarding all construction activities in front of the Project and Client.
  • Provide input to the assessment and selection of construction subcontractors
  • Provide guidance in the definition of the project construction strategy, execution planning and subcontracting strategy.
  • Define construction execution, construction quality control, and material management requirements – and other technical documentation as necessary to meet Project requirements – to be included in the tendering documentation for the execution of construction works.
  • Assess construction priorities and installation sequences, identifying bottlenecks and proactively proposing resolute execution strategies.
  • Prepare and present documentation to resume the assessment and the conclusions
  • Act as focal point towards Clients, site teams, and construction contractors on construction engineering matters
  • Execute feasibility studies for the execution of critical lifting and critical transport activities. Review of detailed drawings provided by the construction subcontractors.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • B.Eng in Engineering field.
  • A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
  • Experience: 7 – 10 years post qualification experience in oil and gas industries
  • Professional membership: COREN/MNSE.
  • Proven experience working in a Construction Engineer role in manufacturing, construction and/or oil and gas industries.
  • Verifiable experience in the use of MS Office packages.

Abilities:

  • CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System (or Software).
  • Microsoft Office Project.
  • Primavera.
  • Strong mentoring, training and coaching to junior colleagues.
  • The ability to explain design ideas and plans clearly.
  • Confident decision-making ability.
  • Excellent communication skill both written and oral.
  • The ability to work within budgets and to deadlines.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of relevant legal regulations.

Job Title: Commercial / Business Development Manager

Responsibilities / Summary of Functions

  • Responsible for overseeing business growth efforts on behalf of the company.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and client leads, coordinate with company leadership to conduct risk assessments and maintain beneficial relationships with clients, suppliers and other business partners. Brainstorm with the business development team to create new project strategies
  • Identify services that would appeal to new clients, while managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
  • Manage our online bidding platforms; Nipex, IOCs, LOCS, Marginal Field Operators and ensure that bid documents are prepared according to the Client’s specification and submitted within the defined tender deadlines
  • Works with other department heads to determine company goals and KPIs
  • Develop financial plans including budgeting andforecasting for the short and long term
  • Review timeframes and budgets
  • Arrange business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective clients
  • Attend networking events and build industry connections in order to facilitate business growth
  • Build and nurture client relationships in order to continue winning new contracts
  • Liaise with the Head of Projects and QHSE Manager in supervising Request for Proposals/Quotations (RFP/Q) processes including soliciting from desirable prospective clients and preparing proposals for new businesses
  • Submit detailed monthly return to the management on business activities carried out within the month
  • Drive efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and delivered on budget
  • Lead role in advising around pricing for commercial contracts
  • Cultivate positive interactions and relationships with team leaders, managers and executives to evaluate sales strategy and results
  • Motivate team members to exceed expected goals
  • Research business opportunities and viable income streams
  • Follow industry trends locally and internationally
  • Draft and review contracts
  • Report on successes and areas needing improvements
  • Ensure that the organization complies with contractual obligations as well as state and federal regulations

Requirements / Qualifications

  • B.Eng. in Engineering field.

  • Experience: 10 years and above prior experience in commercial/business development or marketing fields
  • Professional membership: COREN/MNSE
  • Experience in sales, marketing or related field

  • Provide day-to-day contract administration and manage and administer the full life-cycle of the procurement and contracts processes
  • Coordinate tender preparation for bidding process from start to finish
  • Ensure that bid documents are prepared according to the Client’s specification and submitted within the defined tender deadlines
  • Own the procurement process and support various procurement functions such as strategic sourcing, subcontracting, vendor file management, and assist staff in drafting of requests for proposals, specifications, terms of reference, evaluation criteria and sole source justifications
  • Maintain status of generic proposals and work to ensure they are reviewed, revised and re-approved as necessary
  • Ensure that the Company is in compliance with legal requirements, Clients’ specifications and Government regulations required by Vendors for the execution of contracts
  • Develop presentations and slides that may be required from time to time to enhance the marketability of the Company to LOCS, IOCS and Marginal Field Operations
  • Examine, evaluate and participate in developing and negotiating contracts, and provide technical advice and guidance to minimize risk, ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, and realize operational effectiveness and efficiency in these functional areas
  • Explore opportunities for new bids and business activities in line with services rendered by the Company
  • Participate in sales and marketing activities as maybe required by the Company from time to time
  • Maintain an effective filing system of documentation required for tender and bidding process
  • Perform any other assigned duties required for the role.

  • Minimum of eight (8) years progressive, demonstrated professional contract/procurement experience including, but not limited to, sourcing, contract negotiation, monitoring and reporting contract performance

Job Title: Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Coordinator

  • Client support on HSEQ matters/ Audits

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in a Safety and Quality management role in manufacturing, construction and/or oil and gas industries
  • To have a successful track record of working with the HSE, auditors and professional bodies
  • To have experience of risk management and crisis management
  • Requires a recognized safety and environmental qualification and should hold an auditors’ qualification for and have experience in ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 18001
  • NEBOSH in Occupational Health and Safety qualification.
