Ongoing 2024 Nigerian Air Force DSSC Graduate Recruitment: The Nigerian Air Force is the air force of the Nigerian Armed Forces. It is one of the largest in Africa, consisting of approximately 15,000 personnel and aircraft, including 8 Chinese Chengdu F-7s, 13 Dassault-Dornier Alpha Jets, helicopters, armed attack drones and military transport aircraft.

Air Intelligence: BSc/HND Remote Sensing, Geographic Information System, Cartography Photogrammetry, Geography, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science (CompTIA A+, Ethical Hacking and OSINT), Cyber Security/Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mandarin (Chinese) and Arabic language.
d) Air Traffic Services. Must have specialist qualifications or equivalent (BSc/BTech/HND.
(1) Air traffic control. BSC/HND (Sciences) or air traffic control license (NCAA).
(2) Meteorology. BTech Meteorology, BSc/HND Geography and BSc/HND Physics.
(3) Brand BSc/HND (Science) or BEngr (Civil Engineering) and BSc/HND Chemistry. A firefighting/rescue certificate is an added advantage.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Nationality: Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by origin or birth.
2. Age: Applicants must be between 20 and 30 years (25 – 40 years for Medical Consultants) by 15 December 2024. Please note the following.
A. Candidates born before 15th December 1994 are not eligible while candidates born before 15th December 1984 are not eligible to become medical advisers.
B. The exercise is not intended for service personnel seeking a departmental committee. Therefore, personnel over the age of 30 (born before 15 December 1994) do not apply.
3. Height: Applicants must be at least 1.66m tall for males and not less than 1.63m tall for females.
4. Medical Fitness: Applicants must be medically, physically and psychologically fit and must comply with the medical and occupational standards of the Nigerian Air Force.
5. Local Government Attestation Form: The applicant’s Local Government Attestation Form must be signed by a military officer from the same state as the applicants and not below the rank of Wing Commander in the Nigerian Air Force or equivalent in the Nigerian Army and Nigerian Air Force. The Navy or a police officer of the rank of Deputy Commissioner and above, or the Chairman/Secretary of the local government, the Magistrate and the principals of secondary schools attended by applicants may also sign the attestation form. The local area attestation form must be accompanied by the passport photograph and a photocopy of the signatory’s driver’s licence, national identity card or international passport. The signatory must also authenticate behind the applicant’s passport photo.
6. Presentation of Original IDs: Successful applicants must submit their original IDs for verification during the selection panel interviews.
The references include the following:
A. Two recent passport photographs to be stamped and countersigned by an officer of the appropriate rank specified in clause 6.
B. Original and photocopy of birth certificate or age declaration.
C. Original and photocopy of educational/vocational certificates.
D. Original and photocopy of native certificate from applicant’s local government/state of origin.
e. Original and photocopy of the certificate of good standing signed by an officer of appropriate rank as specified in paragraph
7. Any applicant suspected of having forged or submitted false documents will be disqualified from the selection process. Furthermore, any false statement discovered later may lead to withdrawal from training. Such applicants will be transferred to the Nigerian Police Force for prosecution. The Nigerian Air Force will not screen applicants whose applications have been rejected. Interested applicants should note that online registration is FREE. 8. Application form: After completing the application forms, applicants must print the underlying documents:

ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
10. Interested applicants must have at least a Second Class Lower Division for first degree holders and a lower credit for HND holders. In addition, applicants must have credits in English language and mathematics and an education. Computer skills will be an added advantage.
11. Applicants must be in possession of NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter from NYSC at the time of application for DSSC.
