Job Title: Senior Lawyer

Location: Nigeria

Job Descrition

  • This position requires seasoned and consummate Lawyers with good knowledge of corporate and Oil & Gas laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support to company’s Upstream businesses.
  • Provide legal advice and support on substantial and complex offshore exploration opportunities, including supporting exploration ventures in clvil and common law Jurisdictions.
  • Identify and prioritize legal risks and alternative strategies on a variety of matters.
  • Ensure documents accurately reflect commercial decisions, always consistent with legal obligations and the control framework.
  • Ability to act as an integrator of legal advice and organize, participate, or as appropriate, lead legal team to ensure delivery of integrated and purposeful legal advice with an end-to-end value mindset.
  • Represent the company on third party transactions Provide advice in connection with key engagements with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders.
  • Instruct and manage external legal advisers.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and with both internal and external stakeholders with diverse cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications and Required Competencies

  • Minimum of LL.B, BL and LLM.
  • Any higher qualification will be an added advantage.
  • The Ideal candidates must have a minimum of twenty (20) years relevant post call experience.
  • Must be proficient in the use of IT Software.
  • Must be a team player, self-motivated and multi-task oriented.

Minimum Knowledge and Experience:

  • Versatile in corporate law, legal drafting, litigation, arbitration proceedings and special skill in vetting contract and International agreements.
  • Good knowledge of Oil & Gas Laws.
  • Must not be more than 50 years of age.

 

 

 

Job Title: General Manager (GM), Administration

Location: Nigeria

Job Descrition

  • The ideal candidate for this position must have in-depth knowledge and experience in planning administrative procedures, providing administrative support office system and devising ways of streamlining administrative processes.
  • He/she must be able to timely complete a rang of administrative duties with capacity to efficiently and successfully support Company’s operations and business

Qualifications and Required Competencies

  • Minimum of B.Sc / BA in Business Administration or related field.
  • A Master’s Degree or equivalent will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of ten (20) years of relevant experience in the oil industry with a proven track record of accomplishment of administrative duties.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • In-depth understanding of office management procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to actively discover new ways of doing the job more efficiently.
  • An analytical mind with problem-solving skills.
  • Highly dependable and trustworthy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • A team player with leadership skills.

Minimum Knowledge and Experience:

  • Efficiently and effectively provide administrative suppo to allow other operations and departments to function property.
  • Maintain and order necessary office equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Monitor Inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints.
  • Provide support and supervise facilities services and maintenance activities in the office. Manage company feet and drivers.
  • Support the management of expatriate quota and permits.
  • Provide administrative support and office systems in the Company Must not be more than 50 years of age.

 

 

 

Job Title: General Manager (GM), Operations

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • This position requires candidates with vast experience in management and delivery of critical support and coordination role for the Company.
  • They must be committed to high standards and quality and will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and efficiency of company-wide information, administration, governance system and procedures.
  • The ideal candidate must have sound knowledge of business and service functions with a focus on consistency, quality, and compliance with company’s policies and procedures

Qualifications and Required Competencies

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in core Engineering, Social Sciences or any other relevant field.
  • Post-graduate qualifications in Business Administration and other relevant fields would be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 20 years progressive operational and managerial experience with at least 10 years at Top Managerial level in a reputable oil and gas company or reputable Banking and Telecommunications or FMCG company.
  • Ability to identity issues and trends in order to anticipate change, provide comprehensive solutions and remedie.
  • Ability to manage relationships, motivate and lead groups of people at various levels as well as influence actions and decisions to conform to the goals of the company.
  • Sound project management skills to achieve Company goals while worldng through and with cross-functional teams/units.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.

Minimum Knowledge and Experience:

  • Provide strategic planning, operational support, research, and advice to Senior Management on administrative matters such as Legal matters, Community Relations, ICT, staff management financial planning, and facilities management.,
  • Responsible for ensuring that employees conform to the Company’s policies and procedures from an operations and service perspective, including labour and wage laws.
  • Oversee expense management, including budget tracking, travel and expense reports, and other kinds of expenses pertaining to the Company, with a focus on adherence to Company’s policies.
  • Responsible for the implementation of a comprehensive corporate security policy.
  • Provide relevant information and support for the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
  • Represent the Company on Internal and external matters, including negotiations, conventions, seminars public hearings, and others for smooth business relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure that departmental goals align with organization goals and help teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives.
  • Responsible for the supervision of support staff, including managing their training and development .
  • Must not be more than 55 years of age.

 

 

 

Job Title: General Manager (GM), Reservoir Management

Location: Nigeria

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Apply operational, engineering and management principles to resolve problems and optimize hydrocarbon production enhancement opportunities.
  • Champion reservoir simulation/dynamic modelling. material balance and other reservoir modelling runs to understand reservoir behaviour.
  • Champion the enforcement of standards and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Drive company’s compliance with all regulations from relevant regulatory agencies Deliver geological and geophysical elements of appraisal & field development projects such as exploration/ appraisal development wells, creating and updating an disting reservoir model, which are well scoped and can dellver long term development scenarios.
  • Lead integration of logs & production data, seismic data, static & dynamic models to identify bypass Day, upside potential, work over and drilling.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Petroleum or any other core engineering discipline with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division.
  • A Master’s Degree or equivalent will be an added advantage.
  • Must have worked in a managerial position for at least 8 years in a reputable E&P company and overall ESP experience of not less than eighteen (18) years, with a proven track record of Operations Management In depth knowledge of Production, Facilities, Well engineering and subsurface modelling.
  • Must be very strong in general reservoir engineering, production optimization, well interventions and work over opportunity generation, interfacing with drilling and operations teams.
  • Must have a proven ability to plan / lead projects and must be able to work under pressure.

 

 

 

Job Title: General Manager (GM), Drilling

Location: Nigeria

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, coordinate and manage the overall implementation of Company’s drilling and well completion operations.
  • Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot major drilling and completion problems.
  • Provide continuous drilling rigs forward activities forecast and requirements as related to drilling and well completions.
  • Manage Company’s HSE policy and procedure for drilling and well completions.
  • Responsible for directing the execution of appropriate procedures for well drilling projects.
  • Must be capable of applying operational, engineering and management principles to resolve problems and optimize drilling, completion, workover, supply chain, logistics, planning and scheduling activities.
  • Provide immediate and effective solutions for operational continuity, equipment malfunctions and other onsite problems.
  • Must have experience in field development plans, execution and management. . Liaise with project partners, such as geologists and drilling contractors etc, in order to keep up-to-date on all developments that may have an impact on drilling activities.
  • Ensuring that drilling and well completion operations comply with statutory and regulatory requirements, with respect to health and safety and emergency procedures.
  • Must have a proven ability to plan / lead projects and must be able to work under pressure. Must have strong leadership, Interpersonal and communication skills to work in a multidisciplinary and multi-tasking team.
  • Must be result oriented and committed to company goals.
  • Must be capable of representing the company with regulatory and government agencies.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by Management.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Degree in a core Engineering discipline with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division.
  • A Master’s Degree or its equivalent will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry with a proven track record.
