The candidate will be supervised by Professor Lori Lockyer and have opportunity to engage in a dynamic environment with members of the Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice’s research centres and groups.
If you are an international student, you will also receive either:
- An Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) fees offset (International)
- A QUT research degree (HDR) tuition fee scholarship.
As the scholarship recipient, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of leading researchers, to undertake your own innovative research in and across the field educational studies.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this scholarship, you must meet the entry requirements for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at QUT, including any English language requirements for international students.
You must also have a background in:
- Educational technology
- Educational psychology
- Learning sciences, and/or,
- Curriculum
- Pedagogy and assessment, with a focus on student learning.

Application Procedures
You must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for consideration prior to applying for this scholarship. How to apply for a research degree.
The EOI must indicate that you are applying for this scholarship in the financial details of the application form, and must have Professor Lori Lockyer nominated as your potential supervisor.
