O J Wale Pillars: OJ Wale Pillars Metal and Tech Limited is a Nigerian-based Solar Energy Company that is focused on Providing sustainable uninterrupted alternative source of energy solutions for home and businesses across Nigeria and to ensure that it’s eco-friendly and totally free from noise pollution. Our source of energy ensures conservation of energy and quick power supply for immediate utilization for end users. O J Wale Pillars Metal and Tech Limited was registered on 24th of April 2015 with the Corporate Affairs Commission. However, we have been in the Solar energy business since 2010 (10 years ago), while Battery Hunters Limited as subsidiary was registered on 19th July, 2019.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Oshodi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Maintaining financial records and processing banking transactions
  • Reconciling daily sales transactions and bank statement
  • Reconciling weekly stock movement
  • Refunds and Petty cash monitoring
  • Make accurate day-to-day entry in appropriate ledgers for all business transactions
  • Maintain an accurate record of all transactions
  • Account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of transactions.
  • Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable·
  • Adherence to established cash management procedures ·
  • Accurate bank statement reconciliation
  • Effective expense management
  • Timely processing of pay transactions ·
  • Timely and accurate keeping of financial records ·

Requirements

  • BSc or HND in Accounting
  • A minimum of 1 year of work experience.
  • Solid understanding of basic Bookkeeping and Accounting principles
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and other relevant software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of accounting and software is an advantage
  • Data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office
  • Time management.

Job Title: Delivery Driver

Locations: Oshodi, Ikeja – Lagos and Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Maintain proper knowledge of loaded items
  • Assist in loading and offloading vehicle with items to be delivered
  • Ensure that appropriate and complete documentation is available at the time of loading
  • Drive vehicle to the point of delivery by using the best possible route
  • Take delivery instructions from supervisors before any movement
  • Make sure that speed limits are adhered to in order to ward off possible misadventures
  • Ensure that the vehicle paperwork is in order and to also ensure that delivery receipts are signed
  • Fill in pertinent information such as mileage and delivery time in company provided log books
  • Ensure that both general and preventative maintenance measures are performed on the vehicle.
  • Change vehicle fluids on a regular basis and Clean vehicle from the inside and the outside
  • Ensure that the delivery schedule is follows specification
  • Must be ready to work into night and weekend as the case may be.
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
  • Daily monitoring of the vehicle condition and reporting any fault to Logistics Manager.
  • Giving adequate update on all vehicle document for renewal as at when due
  • Attending to other assignment as may be assigned by superiors or Management.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an OND / SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 2 – 4 years work experience.
  • Valid Drivers’ and LASDRI license.

 

Job Title: Inventory Officer

Location: Oshodi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description 

  • Work hand-in-hand with the Inventory Manager on all inventory-related matters.
  • Ensures proper storage of warehouse products.
  • Maintaining the warehouse’s physical conditions such as general cleanliness, organization layout and design in a way that will ensure maximum space utilization.
  • Working directly with the Purchasing Department (Scrap Sections) to ensure proper stocking levels in kg/tons are maintained and carry out monthly stock records book checking in line with the system.
  • Assist in monitoring the movement of Goods in Transit and ensure that both the Waybill and stock/goods are delivered to the right destination from the sources.
  • Ensuring regular and daily posting of Waybill across all the branches.
  • Carrying out periodic stocks assessment across all the branches through the platform, stock books and system checking for accuracy in comparison.
  • Assist in daily monitoring and follow-up through phone call to another depot in order to maintain records accuracy.
  • Assist in coordinating the Stocks Loading Records for scrap supply and monitor the delivery to their destination.
  • Assist in facilitating the returns of malfunctions of faulty products back to the manufacturer’s Factory or suppliers.
  • Maintaining Standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
  • Producing reports and statistics regularly as at whenever it is needed.
  • Give feedback to the Account Department and Auditor for a proper updates.
  • Attending to another assignment as may be assigned by superiors or Management.

  • Minimum of a First Degree or the equivalent in a Business-related course.
  • 4 years work experience which should include work in a warehouse.

Job Title: Man Truck Driver

  • The ideal candidates for this position should not be more than 40 years.

  • Valid Federal Government recognized driver’s license
  • Good knowledge of Lagos State road network and highway code.

Salary
N65,000 – N70,000 monthly.
