ROTIMI AMAECHI MOURNS WITH THE CHINDAH FAMILY AS MRS. ALICE CHINDAH GOES HOME…

The Honorable Minister of Transportation of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi CON, Saturday attended a Requiem Mass celebrated to mark the burial of late Mrs. Alice Chindah at St. Peter’s Catholic Parish, Rumouro-Ogbakiri in Emuoha LGA of Rivers State.
Late Mrs. Alice Chindah, mother of Chief Emma Chindah (former Rivers State Commissioner of Agriculture), was showered with various encomia as; teacher, influential bridge builder, a Golden Mother of the Catholic Church, Community builder, a successful entrepreneur amongst others.
Amaechi, in his show of appreciation for the wonderful deeds of this woman, and to honour her, for having brought up good citizens of the society, as manifested through the successful children, one of which was Emma Chindah, graced the obsequies in time, both at church service and the performance of foundation laying ceremony of the St. Peter’s Church Chapel in Rumouro-Ogbakiri.
*The former Governor of Rivers State was joined by his political friends, associates and colleagues, and were accompanied to the place by Rivers State APC Chairman-Elect, High Chief Emeka Beke, who also hails from Emuoha LGA, home of the deceased.*
Traditional rulers, party Chieftains, Community people, friends and colleagues of the bereaved were also in attendance.
