Over 31 persons including children and adults have been confirmed dead at the popular Port Harcourt Polo Club venue for free shopping event organized by Kings Assembly a church in Port Harcourt.
Report has it that, There was a stampede in the early hours of today as people rushed to enter the venue immediately after the organisers and some external securities opened the gate for entry.
According to the eyewitness, It takes the help of the Club internal security men to restore normalcy and together they were able to manage the situation by protecting the rest of the lives, properties and other valuable items put together.
