Yesterday, the 24th of August 2022, the Train had arrived Omuma Local Government Area. On his arrival, he was ceremoniously welcomed by the Leadership of Omuma APC, with a brief stopover at the St. Martins Anglican Church, Achinagwu for Prayers, before proceeding for the Tour.
The Team had kick-started the Tour with a Courtesy Visit to the Traditional Ruler, as they were received by HRH. Eze M. I Ojiebge, (Omu ll of Omuma and Onye ishi Agwuru of Omuma Land) and his Council of Chiefs at his Palace, where they had received Royal Blessings from the King and his Council of Chiefs.
The Omu II of Omuma had admonished the APC Governorship Candidate on the needs for Credibility and Competence to be considered as the yardstick for choosing the next crop of Leaders to govern our State and Pastor (Arch) Tonye Patrick Cole has shown indepth knowledge and solution driven roadmap in the developing of our dear State, and had bestowed on Pastor Arch Tonye Patrick Cole as the “UZODINMA 1 of Omuma Land”.
In the light of the Tour, the Party’s Governorship Candidate, alongside other Candidates for various positions had toured the 10 wards in the Local Government Area, as inspections were done in 2 Units of each Ward as to ascertain the level of Voters Orientation and Assessment in the PVC collection.
The State Party Chairman, Chief Hon. Emeka Beke, had applauded the Leaders of the Party in the LGA for their Steadfastness and admonished them on the need to intensify their Sensitization to the Grassroot. He had emphasized on the significance and inestimable roles of the Ward Executives, and implored the LGA Officers to be Up and Doing, as to continually keep reaching out to other Omulgans, to contribute to the Party’s increasing membership.
The Tour had recorded massive turnout of Omulgans, who expressed their readiness in supporting the Candidates of the Party, as the bred of Candidates presented for the 2023 Election, has shown conviction and readiness to takeover Power from the PDP by the next year
