Job Title: HR Lead – East and West Africa

Responsibilities

  • Leading workforce planning, organisation design & effectiveness
  • Be in charge of performance and talent management, succession planning and retention efforts in the markets.
  • Coaching managers through handling of complex employee relations issues, as an expert in East and West Africa markets employment laws and regulations
  • Supporting leaders in Employee Development Planning and Total Compensation Management
  • Consulting with HR colleagues and external partners to meet clients’ HR needs via effective HR business solutions, in alignment with local employment laws and regulations
  • Pro-actively collaborating with HR centers of expertise and employee experience teams to ensure high quality client support and HR delivery
  • Supporting clients with realizing organizational change projects and managing the associated people implications
  • Driving employee engagement and high performing culture through various creative initiatives; coaching People Leaders on the same

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management or Business
  • 5 years professional experience in HR, minimum 2 years experience in Senior HR Business Partner role
  • Working experience in international companies and working in matrix organizations
  • In depth knowledge of employment legislation and best practices, with experience in managing complex employee relations issues
  • Experience coaching and counseling senior management and leadership teams
  • Highly effective communicator with ability to influence clients and manage stakeholders at all levels in the organization (country, regional and global)
  • Acts with a high degree of ethics and integrity

Job Title: Global Internship Program Manager

About The Job

  • NielsenIQ Consumer Insights is looking for a Global Internship Program Manager to join our people transformation team.
  • The Global Internship Program Manager has direct responsibility to build and manage an internship program for our commercial organization across multiple countries.
  • This role will work closely with our NielsenIQ Early Career Director, HRBPs and the business to driving the global intern program strategy and infrastructure

Responsibilities

  • Complete a thorough needs assessment and current state review of local intern programs
  • Design and build a globally scalable world class internship program that creates engagement and connection for interns across countries and provides opportunities to learn new skills, learn about our industry, and provide value to our clients
  • Design the commercial intern role and opportunities for development and connection across teams, building a sense of camaraderie across the program
  • Work closely with the talent acquisition team to coordinate recruitment and build strategy, representing the Consumer Insights business needs
  • Develop a global onboarding and engagement strategy for interns, coordinate and execute that strategy across the business
  • Coordinate with business leaders and HRBPs to identify intern roles per country and act as liaison to the Early Career Director
  • Support multiple projects which include the development and execution of programs that will require conducting internal and external research as well as coordination and administration / logistics for the program
  • You will create and own Early Career program metrics , analyzing the program’s performance, effectiveness, and return on investment and use a data-driven approach to integrate the program across the business function as a main source of junior talent .
  • You will collaborate with the employer branding to build a recognizable early career brand, university relationships , in continuation to the NIQ’s global brand, drawing the attention.

  • Customize our GADP rotational program for our Consumer Insights business from design to execution

Job Title: Senior Research Executive – Consumer Insights

About this Job

  • To manage multiple client account teams within a country, region, or area with the aim to enhance and develop relationships with assigned and prospective clients resulting in achieved revenue target and customer satisfaction.
  • To be responsible for client management and for handling projects. Preparation of proposals to the client through to final tabulations and/or reports/ presentations.
  • Responsible for regular client engagement and be the Insights partner. Direct line report team management

Client Servicing:

  • Maintain an accurate, complete, up-to-date and insightful client business profiles to be shared with senior management
  • Assist senior staff in delivering quality services to clients and ensure the services provided to clients are timely and precise according to client business needs and specifications and at the same time meeting the company’s quality standards
  • Assist in sales activities in conjunction with senior staff in terms of preparation of proposal and credential presentations
  • Communicate client needs to appropriate team members
  • Provide “in office” research, administrative and operational support to senior staff
  • Be directly accountable for work conducted for their nominated clients in terms of analyses, charting, etc

Functional / Technical:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge on research techniques and applications

  • Good client service skills and able to communicate and write effectively in English.

Preferred Requirements (Added Advantage):

  • Knowledge of multivariate analyses – e.g. correlation, regression, factor analysis.
  • Experience using analysis software such as R, SPSS.
