Job Title: Production Manager (Furniture & Joinery)

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or Wood Technology.
  • 7 years experience in the furniture manufacturing industry.
  • City and Guilds certification will be a plus.

  • Ability to interpret, analyze and process job orders to finished goods.
  • Ability to generate accurate cutting list and production drawings ( using Autocad) from job orders
  • Ability to program and operate automated machines like:  CNC processing mcn, Edge banding mcn, Beam saw mcn, Carcase clamp mcn, Drilling boring mcn, Hot-pressing mcn, sanding  mcn , Automatic spindle moulder, Semi-panel saws and various traditional machines.
  • Ability to establish and execute quality control processes in collaboration with quality control Manager with overall responsibility for quality control assurance.
  • Ability to create strategy, drive implementation, monitor compliance and write effective progress report suitable for reference and decision making.
  • Ability to manage production manpower( skilled ans unskilled) of at least 50 people efficiently.
  • Ability to increase capacity utilization and furniture productivity to 80% average.

Description

  • Present executive safety results
  • Issue safety alerts in case of major deviations observed.
  • Ensure conformity with Group and legislative safety directives and rules pertaining to Company Aviation operations
  • Perform regular HSE / SQM meeting with contractors
  • Demonstrate personal commitment to the HSE Policy and application of Company’s referential
  • Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards
  • Actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes.
  • Carry out Incidents/Occurrences report and analysis, keep track of aviation incident in Synergy.
  • Perform regular audits and define action plans, as well as issue quality assurance reports.
  • Fulfil the role of specialist for Aviation operations thereby providing advice and expertise for specifications of Air support and technical inspections of aircrafts (fixed and rotary wings).
  • Liaise with helicopter operating managers to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Participates in Aviation Strategy development
  • Maintain accurate and satisfactory accounting, audit and administration trail. Monitor the achievement of agreed objectives and corrective actions defined into contractor audit plan
  • Maintain ownership of Company Aviation Procedures and ensure regular update and improvement of same;also make inputs to Group procedures where and when necessary.

  • To control all day-to-day aviation activities and for all satellite bases controlled from Port Harcourt and Lagos, in order to satisfy ‘user ‘ requirements whilst optimizing the utilization of available resources, in the medium to long term, to ensure that all possible optimizations are realized.
  • To ensure conformity with all Company and legislative safety directives and rules relative to Company aviation activities and to provide advice on aviation matters and policy.
  • To liaise with NCAA on all Company’s Helipad / Helidecks for ensuring annual recertification.

Qualifications

  • To have a minimum of 10 years of experience as an airline captain/pilot or Maintenance engineering or operations or airworthiness manager in civil aviation
  • To have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in offshore helicopter company
  • To hold an international aviation auditor certificate or to have graduated from an air safety academy
  • To possess a good knowledge of all developments in Nigerian aviation legislation, technical innovations, market developments and performance levels. Keep line management advised and monitor same
  • Profile: Teambuilding awareness, multicultural awareness, environmental awareness, organization/anticipation skills, good command of English language and computer literacy.

Job Title: Engineering and Asset Integrity Lead

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos

Description

  • Manage the Conceptualization, Engineering Designs (FEED, Detail), and Construction of all surface production facilities from Basis for Design (BFD) to Commissioning; start up, turnover to operations and overall on site contract administration.
  • Lead all Facilities Engineering reviews through all project phases from Concept through to start up.
  • Oversee all post Commissioning facilities integrity, expansion and modification projects in addition to new development projects.
  • Develop the Company’s Facilities Engineering Policies and Procedures, formulate and implement plans and strategies – Project Execution Plan (PEP), and monitor all technical aspects of the Greenfield and Brownfield projects within this framework.
  • Lead the development of all Engineering, Construction, Installation and Commissioning, Quality, budget, Cost and schedule plans and activities.
  • Lead the obtaining of technical approvals from statutory bodies e.g. DPR locally and internationally for the Engineering projects in which company is involved.
  • Supervise a wide range of companies’ technical disciplines and the Contractor’s team.
  • Review Contractors’ execution plans, policies, standards, procedures required to comply with statutory policies for implementing all projects.
  • Audit Contractors’ operations and facilities for compliance to approved contracts and plans.
  • On site manager and day-to-day responsibility/verification for all activities of the Contractors execution team i.e. Engineering, fabrication, Commissioning.
  • Responsible to the Management for ensuring Design, Constructability, Risk Reviews, HAZOPS, FAT, SAT, SIT, SIMOPS & HAZIDS as indicated in PEP are covered during project execution phases, meeting Project Quality Objectives/overall Safety Performance, and project close out within cost and schedule.
  • Review and obtain approvals of all critical lift plans and other engineered construction activities.
  • Review, endorse and assist Management with Contractor’s change orders during the construction phase of the project to assess their effect on project cost, schedule, Quality, risk, and Integrity of Facilities.
  • Support Operations with execution of Start-up, Performance Test & Acceptance and turnover/handover of facilities.
  • Lead the development of company’s Preventive Maintenance (PM) Procedures i.e. use of SAP or other relevant software, to cover all surface facilities.
  • Ensure on time maintenance of surface facilities, corrosion monitoring, meter proving and facilities integrity.
  • Manage all maintenance interfaces and contract administration issues with contractors.
  • Manage pipeline, subsea and subsea controls spares and upkeep of these spares.

Deliverables:

  • Facilities Engineering projects and maintenance are delivered within budget, schedule and to approved safety and quality standards.
  • Regular Management reporting and advise likely deviations to scope and schedule on time.
  • Commissioning and Start up Activities is hitch free by addressing all possible issues and closing them out with punch list items to the barest minimum.
  • Corrosion control measures are adequate and reports generated on time for technical reviews.
