RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach undergraduate courses in any of the above disciplines based on departmental needs and expertise.
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops that promote active learning and critical thinking
- Conduct research and scholarly activities in any of the above disciplines to contribute to the field’s knowledge base and enhance the university’s reputation. Supervise and mentor students in their research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Participate in departmental and university service activities, including committee work andacademic advising.
- Stay updated with current trends and advancements in any of the above disciplines to enhance teaching and research methodologies.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of curriculum and course materials
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
In all cases, candidates are required to possess appropriate knowiedge & skills, and behaviours for respective discipline as well as possess teaching abilities with adequate research experience.
1. Profes5or: Ph.D. degree with specialization in the discipline applied for with evidence of academic Leadership in terms of publications, project design execution and monitoring, administrative leadership, minimum 10 years of post qualification, Tull time relevant teaching and research experience. We are keen on hiring only Protessors with world clas and distinguished Researches who meet prescribed internationaly recognized contributions. Such Proressors. wil be moved to Research Scholar scale which offers internationally competitive remuneration. Only Professors of impeccable conducts and character need àppiy.
2. Associate Professor (Reader): Same as for Professor but with minimum 8 years. post qualification, full time, relevant teaching, entrepreneurial and research experience.
3. Senior Lecturer: Same as for Professor but with minimum 5 years of post-qualification, full timne, relevant teaching. entrepreneurial and research experience.
4. Lecturer I: Ph.D. degree from a reputable university, with minimum 2 years of post- qualification teaching experience, and evidence of scholarly publications.
5. Lecturer l: Ph.D. Degree from a reputable University. However, fresh Ph.D. holders shall not be evaluated on the publication criterion.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Proven teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
Strong research record demonstrated by publications in reputable journals or other scholarly Ouiets.
Expertise in any of the advertised areas and the ability to teach a range of courses within the discipline.
EXcellent communication and interpersonal skils.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a collegial academic environment.
Demonstrated commitment to student success and enhancing the learning experience.
Knowledge of current pedagogical practices and ability to implement innovative teaching methodologies.
