Three Candidates on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Rivers East Senatorial District of Rivers State, for the 2023 general elections, Engr. Dr. Ndubuisi Nwankwo, Hon. Ezemonye Ezekiel Amadi and Hon. Azubike Chikere Wanjoku, have thanked members of the APC for their support in emerging victorious during the primaries. They also urged members of their constituents to take advantage of the extended voter registration exercise of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in registering and obtaining their permanent voters card.
Hon. Ezemonye Ezekiel Amadi, Candidate of the APC for Ikwerre/Emohua Federal Constituency, while addressing the good people of Egbeda and Elele communities, disclosed that INEC has extended the continuous voter’s registration exercise indefinitely.
In the same vein, Hon. Azubike Chikere Wanjoku, candidate of the APC for Ikwerre State Constituency, also urged his people to turn out en masse and participate in registering for the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, organized Continuous Voters Registration CVR exercise flagged off across the country.
While thanking members of the APC in Elele for supporting his emergence as the party’s flag-bearer for Ikwerre Constituency, Hon. Wanjoku advised those who are 18 years and above who have not registered in the exercise to do so, as well as those without Permanent Voters Card, PVC, including those that want their voting points or units and area changed, should take advantage of the INEC CVR window.
Meanwhile, Engr. Dr. Ndubuisi Nwankwo, who is seeking to represent Rivers East Senatorial District in the Red Chambers, added that as part of the effort to have more opportunities by championing and having more voice louder in the National and State politics, Rivers People need to make themselves available to be adequately captured in the ongoing continuous voters’ registration.
Dr. Ndubuisi appealed to members of his constituents who are 18 years and above to make sure they participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise.
