Giadom Dumps Amaechi For Wike

According to the news at the corridors of the ongoing political alliances in Abuja confirms that Chief Victor Giadom, the current Vice Chairman South-South, of the All Progressives Congress (APC), one of the highest beneficiaries of Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, as former governor of Rivers State, and minister of Transportation, has shifted his loyalty to the immediate past governor of Rivers, Nyesome Wike, who remains till date, an ark enemy of his former boss, Amaechi.

Speaking to a reliable source who works in close proximity as aide to Chief Giadom, he confirmed to our correspondent on grounds of anonymity that his principal has being having regular calls from Wike, and has also assured him of his maximum corporation to have him smoothly replace Rotimi Amaechi in the APC.

When asked why his boss suddenly prefers Wike over Amaechi, he stated that: “My Oga has always been friends with former Governor Wike, and they have been in touch. At this level, Chief has nothing much he looks forward to in the state, all he needs now is to sustain his political weight in the scheme at the national level. With close evaluation, Amaechi does not have any influence anymore, especially in this Tinubu’s government, and Wike appears to have a better opening than Amaechi, so they both have something in common, which is survival.”

Furthermore, in his response as to why his boss didn’t rather pitch tent with his former political benefactor Sen. Magnus Abe who appears even more close to Tinubu, our source said: “The divide is as deep as the gulf, Teeh (a reverential title for an elder in Ogoni as we gathered), has done plenty bad things against his brother Magnus, he fears that he may not be forgiven, so he prefers Wike”.

In the coming days, as President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu unveils the list of his cabinet members, lot would be playing out. Continue Reading
