Job Title: Business Development Executive – Health Care

Locations: Lagos and Kano / Kaduna

Job Summary

  • The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the planning and execution of mid & long-term channel strategy for PPC Medicals within the assigned territory.
  • The BDM is expected to act as the CEO of the territory taking entrepreneurial initiatives in delivering superior value for customers and the organization.

Job Description

  • Responsible for total sales results (of all Lines of Business) and (Customer Services) of PPC within the assigned territory.
  • Maintain a healthy funnel of opportunities to be closed month on month.
  • Own the forecast process including funnel maintenance of the channel in the assigned territory.
  • Participate and drive the yearly performance review, target setting, sales plan preparation.
  • Ensure timely contract renewal with each Key Account within the assigned territory.
  • Identify new businesses, channel opportunities and customer needs in the region to ensure growth
  • Build, manage, and leverage relationships with partners.
  • Liaise with all PPC partners (OEMs) for technical and commercial information, pricing and trainings on all new products.
  • Ensure optimal use of the OEMs channel partner available tools.
  • Responsible for product positioning, territory/account management and product specialty.
  • Explore, develop and maintain strategic relationship with key accounts within the territory under the guidance of the General Manager.
  • Negotiate with potential Accounts/Customers, Channel Partners special deals, pricing, timing, service compensation in line with PPC policy with Guidance by the General manager.
  • Maintain a healthy data base of accounts and ensure optimal relationship management of such accounts within the territory.
  • Provide input for the region and national business planning exercise: market trends, competitor behavior, potential projects and other relevant business information.
  • Develop and maintain up to date market intelligence on available/potential opportunities, competition, threats within assigned territory and report same promptly.
  • Deploy strategies and tactical plans for the Direct and Indirect sales channel based on customer needs synchronized with the PPC Medical Strategic Plan.

Job Specification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Sciences.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a medical related Industry – Equipment sales and servicing.
  • Experience in sales or account management role preferably in Healthcare or B2B environment
  • Experience in dealing with Distributors or Dealers.
  • Experience of working within and preferably leading a cross functional team.
  • Experience in communicating and relating with C-level contacts.
  • Experience in the use of CRM tools.
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of Hausa language will be an added advantage (Kano/Kaduna Location)

Job Title: Management Accountant

Details

  • Reporting to the Managing Director PPC, you will provide all Financial and Accounting activities required to secure an effective operations of the Organisation
  • You will manage, direct and develop all Accounting and Finance Staff and ensure the team is at the forefront of growing the business.
  • This role will suit an experienced qualified accountant who can work with minimal supervision. The individual will have responsibility for all the Financial operations of the Organisation, preparing financial and management accounts, budgets and forecasts and will have significant involvement in financial planning, analysis and performance review of the centre
  • He/she will oversee the staff responsible for front end financial/accounting services such as billing, cash/bank receipts, bank reconciliation, etc.
  • post holder will work closely with the operations/front line teams at the Centre and Head office Finance and procurement teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Preparing timely management and financial accounts and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts
  • undertaking all day to day financial transactions and credit control functions
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for the business unit
  • Assisting the GM Financial Reporting with the preparation of consolidated group financial statements and all year end work
  • Preparing yearly budgets and undertaking quarterly/monthly/weekly performance reviews thereof
  • Upgrading financial processes and systems
  • Leading the Audit of the Centre
  • Financial forecasts and analysis for each potential Centre, as part of PPC’s growth Agenda
  • Close liaison with the GM Financial Reporting to resolve all issues
  • Involvement in cash planning, monitoring and control
  • Any other Ad hoc duties as directed by Management.

Required Qualifications, Experience And Skills

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • At least 10 years’ experience with at least 3 in a similar role
  • Experience of staff Management
  • Highly numeric/strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced level spreadsheet skills and PC literacy
  • Strong accounting and book-keeping skills
  • Confident communication skills and strong report writing skills
  • Drive to continually improve processes and seek new challenges
  • Ability to work well under pressure, working accurately with attention to detail, and meeting deadlines
  • Some weekend and late working will be required.

 

 

 

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Document financial transactions by entering account information
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Maintains financial security by following internal controls
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
  • Maintains customers’ confidence and protect operations by keeping financial and other information confidential
  • Relate with bank and ensure regular supervision of the revenue collections
  • Handle float for operations
  • Other duties that may be assigned.

Job Requirement / Qualification

  • B.Sc / HND in Accounting
  • 2 – 3 years of work experience
  • Must be competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
