RE: Gov. Nyesom Wike Datribes In Eleme On Ambassador Oji Ngofa: A Right to Reply.

Once again, I watched on live TV, the drunken virtuperations of His Excellency, Governor Nyesom Wike, on my person, at the flag-off of his phantom Road Project in my LGA. The Governor has made it a habit to use commissioning or flag-offs of his self-promoting brick and mortar unsustainable projects, as a platform to disparage citizens of the state who disagree with him.

It’s very obvious that the Governor is a poor student; I tried to educate him on the duties and responsibilities of an Ambassador some time ago, but apparently and sadly so, he reflects a low cognitive ability and pedestrian appreciation of Diplomatic Duties.

.

Once again, Governor Wike should be reminded that an Ambassador works with a Station Charter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A Station Charter defines the duties of an Ambassador in a Receiving State.

Attracting projects and flying people oversees is not part of the responsibilities of an Ambassador. My work and achievements as an Ambassador are easy to assess by a click of a button on goggle search. Why are they afraid to talk about my performance as a Council Chairman? Is it because they are aware that they have not added anything to my monumental achievements as a Council Chairman since 2015? Whether Governor Wike likes it or not, the 2023 Elections would be a referendum on those that have been in the saddle in public office, either exiting or incumbents; and the people will pass their verdict through their votes.

His outdated despotic terror tactics/ weaponization of poverty to subdue Rivers people will fail.

A Governor should understand that he is an embodiment of the collective wisdom of his people. It’s about time to put a stop to this endless shameful shenanigans in the name of politics. The 2023 General Elections will be a watershed moment for Rivers State and it will be decided by the citizens of the State. Continue Reading
