Amalgamated Commercial Tricycle, Motorcycle Owners,Repairs And Riders Association Of Nigeria, (ACOMORAN) Saturday, appointed the immediate past Commissioner of Lands and Survey Barr. Ezemonye Ezekiel-Amadi as its Rivers State Patron.
Speaking at a brief but impressive ceremony in Port-Harcourt, ACOMORAN State Chairman,Comrade Marvin Onyemachi Akpelu said the appointment was based on the pedigree and humanitarian activities of the Omerelu, Ikwerre Local Government Area – born politician.
Accepting the appointment, a visibly surprised High Chief Ezekiel-Amadi who is also a Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), promised not to rest on his laurels but continue to make the lives of the people especially members of the APC count.
He also used the medium to call on members of the association to support the APC and the Minister of Transportation,Rt.Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi as he partners with President Muhammadu Buhari to move Nigeria to greater heights.
In the same vein, Comrade Opara Darlington, National Treasurer of the association lauded the former Lands and Survey Commissioner for accepting the offer and pledged to work with him to move the association and nation forward.
