DIMKPA LEADS DELEGATION OF PORT HARCOURT POLO CLUB MEMBERS TO ATTEND EDOCHIE’S CHIEFTANCY CONFERMENT.
Chief Dr Chukwudi Dimkpa, this morning led members of Port Harcourt Polo Club to attend a ceremony of the conferment of chieftancy title of Eze Ebube Agu 1 of Rumurolu Town, Obio Akpor LGA, Rivers State on Chief Leo Chinedu Edochie.
Chief Chinedu Edochie, son of veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, is a former President of the Port Harcourt Polo Club, was honored by the paramount ruler of Rumurolu Town, Eze G.N Chukwumgba for his contributions to the development of the community.
Chief Dimkpa who is Mene Yereba 1 of Gwara Community, khana LGA in Rivers State is current President of Port Harcourt Polo Club, was at the ceremony in company of his ally, Elder Ezemonye Mpi.
Dr Chukwudi Dimkpa congratulated Chief Leo Edochie in particular, and other chieftancy recipients decorated by the Monarch and the Rumurolu people, noting that the titles bestowed on them are well-deserved.
Speaking during a banquet himself and members of the Port Harcourt Polo club organized in reception for Chief Leo Chinedu Edochie immediately after the coronation, Engr Dimkpa saluted the courage of the former president of Port Harcourt Polo Club to have crossed all the way through, from Anambra and made tremendous impact and recognition in Rivers State,
Also honored with chieftancy titles by the Rumurolu council of Chiefs and Owhor holders is a Rivers APC Chieftain, Chief Sydney Nyeche, a financial expert, Chief Chinedu Dikeogu, from Rumueme kingdom, among others
