“APC is much stronger now because the people who have stayed behind have refused very lucrative offers from the ruling party. And they’ve resisted it because they believe 100% in the change that is coming.
“They’re no longer looking at themselves and think about what they can benefit materially or financially. What they’re looking at now is what they can do to change the landscape for our people as a whole so that we do not have to beg tomorrow.
“And those are the people that I’m proud to stand by, those are the people that I see in APC today, and I’m very proud of them.”
