Job Description
- Drive RGM initiatives for Nigeria, collaborating with the regional team.
- Analyze and share key insights with GM & Leadership team of sales and Nielsen data for decision making purposes (in conjunction with marketing director)
- Drive OpSys data collection and collation
- Channel & Key Customer level DPSM Planning and Tracking:
- Distribution: Must Stock List
- Pricing: Promo Guidelines
- Shelving: Planogram guidelines + SOS% target setting
- Merchandizing: Full year in-store display planning for TT & MT
- Active participation in development of annual brand plans (led by marketing), including New Product Innovations (NPIs) planning
- NPI planning with the Key distributor driven by Perfect Launch Kit
- Gathering and sharing shopper, retailer and competition updates and insights
- Strong presence in Traditional trade to gather data
- Implementation of category strategy (developed in collaboration with marketing)
- Implementation of retailer/customer/Distributor strategy (developed by sales)
- Coordination with AC Nielsen and marketing for regular data sharing, working on data enhancements and data analytics as per business requirements
- Responsibility for 2 budgets: (a)A&CP: in-store activation (POSM, promoters) & in-store sampling implementation (b) GTN: trade marketing plans
- Interface with distributor.

Key Competencies / Skills
- The position requires tertiary qualification (commercial base essential), a minimum of 7 years experience, 3 at a senior level within Customer, Channel, Marketing or Finance. Proven track record in leadership to achieve business results, market share growth.

Main Purpose

- Effective management of A&P budget
- SBM’s guide and develop skills base of JBM’s and BM’s where appropriate
Minimum Requirements
- 3 year Bachelor’s Degree / MFSA Diploma
- Extensive marketing experience, ideally in a top FMCG company, with history of demonstrated success in:
- Business, brand and category analysis translated into recommendations Insight development through deep consumer understanding Brand positioning, architecture, visual identity application into product and commercial innovation

- Ensure assets are maintained in a “Safe to operate” condition at all times while promoting all aspects of safe working practices to meet all safety and housekeeping objectives of the plant.
- Optimise the Diaper Manufacturing process through the design of new electrical/electronic process control systems together with optimisation/maintenance of existing process control systems in order to achieve optimum plant and process reliability.
- Plan, organise and control Electrical Projects.
- Identify issues and opportunities for improvement through modifications and upgrades.
- Manage changes in process requirements brought by changes in product specifications and productivity requirements.
- Train, develop and up skill personnel by means of on the job as well as technical and generic training.
- Communications – provide relevant and timely communications at all levels.
Key Competencies / Skills
- Minimum of a B.Sc Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent tertiary education.
- Minimum of 5 years previous engineering and maintenance experience in FMCG environment
- Prior experience working with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) would be an advantage
- Excellent PLC programming and drives skills(Siemens/Allan Bradley/Rockwell)
- Excellent project management skills.
- Has demonstrated good leadership qualities in line with companies policies and practices.
- Excellent design, process improvement and maintenance experience.
