Job Title: Loan Portfolio Manager

.

Location: Nigeria

Summary

  • Your duties would be to take ownership of your account – including conducting retailer profiling and assessment, collection of KYC, verification and due diligence required before recommending them to receive credit.
  • You will be in charge of everything to do with managing borrowers and making sure that your portfolio is of the highest quality, including performing collections and recovery activities, making sure that these are done on time and in full.
  • You will be responsible for delivering on all metrics associated with their portfolio, and must be able to take supervision from the leadership team, while also collaborating with other portfolio manager agents.

Responsibilities

  • Perform activities to convert borrowers from existing retailer audience, including field visits and phone calls.
  • Gain thorough understanding of the loan product and the company’s operational processes, and communicate these to potential and existing borrowers.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality portfolio of borrowers according to targets communicated by the supervisor on a weekly basis.
  • Be accountable for borrowers in your portfolio and ensure they are able to borrow and repay their loans on time and in full.
  • Be responsible for the success of your individual portfolio, including knowing how much capital to deploy to where, for how long, and where to get the best return.
  • Leverage data and insights provided by the company and team leads on the best areas to focus on.
  • Daily, weekly, monthly reporting to team leads and supervisors.
  • Be responsible for collections and recovery of outstanding loans, according to the company’s collections/recovery policy
  • Comply with all instructions and targets set by team lead, supervisor, and managers
  • Use technology tools and apps provided by the company to onboard and manage borrowers in your portfolio
  • Alert supervisors and team leads to bad borrower behaviour, signs of default in one’s portfolio

Requirements

  • University Degree, Polytechnic, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working as a loan origination/collections officer and has sound understanding of portfolio management and credit risk.
  • Familiarity with retailer audiences and SME/Micro SME lending is a bonus.
  • Must have experience using smartphones, and be familiar with mobile app usage.
  • Prior experience in loan management, portfolio management, or other credit risk function.
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work strategically, while staying within the guidelines prescribed for the job role.

Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Nigeria

Summary

  • To ensure the proper management of stock within their assigned section by directly managing and overseeing every activity performed on the stock in their assigned section.
  • Ensure the proper planning and management of capacity within their assigned sections.
  • Ensure the inventory accuracy of all SKUs within their assigned sections.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage stacking guidelines for all SKUs within assigned sections.
  • Perform labeling of all SKU stacks in assigned section.
  • Perform capacity planning and allocation activities in conjunction with the procurement team to manage the space within the assigned section.
  • Oversee all stock movement activity within the assigned section.
  • Ensure adherence to all warehouse policies and procedures regarding stock movement within the assigned sections (e.g. FIFO).
  • Perform daily cycle counts and stock reconciliation to ensure the accuracy of the stock within the assigned section.
  • Prepare reports on stock activity within assigned sections at the end of every shift.
  • Provide reports for warehouse and procurement team on stock ageing and movement velocity.

Requirements

  • University Degree, Polytechnic, or equivalent.
  • S/he will have at least 1 year experience ideally in Warehousing within the FMCG/Production/e-Commerce.
  • S/he will be a great communicator with previous experience managing a team.
  • S/he will be goal driven, pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard.
  • Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and time-management skills.

Job Title: Head of Recovery

Location: Nigeria

Who We Want

  • We are looking for a highly skilled leader with proven experience in credit risk and recovery, to leverage data and technology to drive optimum performance of our loan portfolio.
  • This role is ideal for someone who has the right mix of leadership, passion, energy and experience. You arenan analytical thinker, with super high attention to detail, skilled at data analytics, and has proven to be a winner at retail/SME credit collections and recovery.
  • You will have primary responsibility for leading collections and recovery for the division, recovery reporting, driving the collections activities proactively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop industry level recovery according to the standard of best practices obtainable in the lending industry.
  • Build and manage team of collections & recovery staff; combining online and field channels.
  • Adhere to and maintain KPIs for PAR, Default/NPLs set by the business.
  • Develop and maintain projections for cohort performance and trigger failsafes to prevent delinquents from piling up.
  • Own, maintain, and report to key management on outstanding portfolio on a regular basis.
  • Oversee activities of recovery field team to meet daily targets of Collections.
  • Work with Operations and other sub-teams in Risk to continually collect data required for collections activities.
  • Perform deep data analysis on the loan portfolio to guide the setting of priorities in terms of Collections and Recovery efforts.
  • Establish, achieve, and report on recovery milestones frequently to the executive management team and the board.

Requirements

  • University Degree, preferably an MBA or Accounting, Finance Degree
  • Prior experience in credit recovery in banking or established fin-techs.
  • Excellent Data Analysis skills; extremely proficient with Business Intelligence tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Domo, etc.
  • Ability to work strategically, but also hands-on problem solving.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Track record of building innovative, creative, and collaborative teams.
  • Strong desire to lead from a strategic and tactical perspective in all aspects of day to day company operations.
