Job Title: Finance & Administrative Manager

Job Description

  • Coordinate annual budget preparations and compliance and ensure that project budgets are reviewed at least quarterly.
  • Work with the State Director on periodic preparation of Financial Statements and ensure completion of project financials on monthly basis.
  • Conduct monthly budget / actual analysis to give feedback to State Director every month; prepare and submission of donor specific monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

Job Title: Technical Advisor – Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC)

Job Description

  • Under the guidance of Associate Director – OVC/Gender, the incumbent will design and coordinate the implementation of OVC program activities in line with national guidelines. Interfacing with GON, USG, and CBO programs to facilitate synergies and initiatives to improve the package of care and support services.
  • S/he will strengthen linkages between CBOs and state and LGA structures for improved coordination of OVC service delivery planning and implementation at the community level.
  • S/he ensure established OVC program goals and objectives and planned outputs and outcomes, and that these results are documented.
  • The incumbent will develop work plans for the program and coordinate the implementation and reporting on all activities; receive and review monthly programmatic performance reports from CBOs and health facilities.
  • S/he will establish and maintain working relationships with the other OVC technical departments in Nigeria as a base for building/maintaining/expanding a sustainable country program and ensure that the most updated information regarding OVC programming is shared via the designated mechanisms; databases, the central server, monthly quarterly reports.

Job Title: Adherence Counsellor

Job Description
The counsellor should have well developed counseling and communication skills, and will play the following role:

  • Provide psychosocial and continuous support as well as treatment preparation to clients in the health facility;
  • Provide counselling services including risk reduction counseling, harm reduction counseling, post-GBV counseling, or contraceptive/family planning counseling as required
  • Identify and address challenges/barriers to adherence
  • Organize and facilitate support group sessions for HIV infected and affected clients including groups with special needs e.g. discordant couples, youth/adolescent and children

  • Dispensing ARVs in appropriate packaging with clear instructions
  • Providing medication-related counseling, including reinforcing adherence and advising on potential side effects and drug interactions
  • Providing drug information to health service providers and clients on request
  • Identifying and supporting follow-up of clients who do not return for refills of their ARVs
  • Working with providers and clients to identify, manage, and report adverse drug reactions and drug interactions

Job Description
The OSS Doctor will provide general care to the KP clients. The key roles of the Doctor include:

  • Working with program team to develop and/or review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the provision of ART services to Key Populations
  • Provide ART services to Key Populations in line with current World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations and national guidelines both at the OSS and through mobile ART
  • Oversee clinical HIV treatment protocols in each clinical department to reflect the needs of the target population and ensure consistency of treatment services throughout the OSS
  • Ensure a seamless delivery of service for clients from intake through discharge at the OSS, Review and assess client treatment protocols and plans, including short- and long-term goals, Review clinical records to evaluate the necessary level of client care
  • Effectively manage and supervise other clinicians, health service providers, volunteers and case managers at the OSS as well as mobile ART teams

Job Description
He/she is the first point of contact with the KPs or any other person entering the OSS. He/She must be a KP community member and must:

  • Inform Clients of medical office procedures and policy
  • In liaison with the record unit maintain and manage client records

  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post
  • Complete other clerical duties as assigned

Minimum Recruitment Standard

Job Description

  • Support clients to access all OSS services including HIV care, treatment and support services, STI screening and PrEP.
  • Support community-level ARV refill along the differentiated model of care.
  • Elicit and document PNS of all HIV positive index KPs
  • Ensures HTS are provided for all eligible contacts of index clients
  • Ensures enrolment and initiation of ART for all positive contacts of index clients
  • In liaison with the adherence counselor, ensures regular monitoring of treatment adherence, community tracking of defaulters / lost to follow up clients and facilitate their return to care.
  • Provides treatment education, adherence counselling and peer support to assigned clients at health facilities and community following the adherence support schedule.
  • Facilitates active referrals of clients to treatment through escort services.
  • Reports and refer clients with adverse drug reaction appropriately.
  • In liaison with the adherence counsellor, maintains a log of all assigned clients contacts (descriptive addresses and phone numbers) and keeps comprehensive records of clinic appointments and interventions carried out to support them on retention.
  • Supports documentation of interventions in adherence services, monitoring and tracking tools for general and priority population.
  • Sensitize clients on the differentiated refills for stable clients.
  • Maintain confidentiality, respect privacy, and preserve the clients’ routine and independence as much as possible.

Minimum Recruitment Standard

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 1 – 2 years relevant work experience.

The functionality and operation of the OSS requires a Janitorial service in line with good hygiene practice:

  • Set up, arrange or remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders or scaffolding to prepare facilities for meetings.
  • Clean and restore building interiors damaged by fire, smoke, or water using commercial cleaning equipment
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment or supplies
  • Clean equipment such as glassware or metal instruments, using solvents, brushes, rags or power cleaning equipment
  • Clean windows, glass partitions or mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners.
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping and scrubbing
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
  • Gather and empty trash
  • Empty specialist waste bins and containers and remove to appropriate processing point in accordance with guidance and instructions provided
  • Also, other duties within the scope of the job title.
