Nkemka Amadi is a progressive minded personality from Elele Alimini in Emohua Local Government Area, Rivers State. He is rated as one of the most vibrant, progressive and influential youth figure in Rivers State. Most prominent youth leaders like him at any given locality get their influence not on the basis of any official position of authority they occupy, but rather because they possess certain traits that enable them to represent their people and drive progressive social change.
His active mobilization activities are remarkable and involves getting people ready to serve, sustaining peace, creating different levels of supportive programs, bringing relative peace among the youth and making positive input to the overall good of the society he domiciles.
His dynamic style of leadership can be built over years, but in many ways some of the prerequisites of him being a great youth leader are things that cannot simply be learned. He has an innate desire to lead; in fact, he is someone that blazes trails in almost every situation, as if he doesn’t even have a choice in the matter.
He doesn’t only have the motivation to affect positive change in EMOLGA, but he also wants to be at the forefront of that transformation. He inherently possess the dedication and drive that is a paramount necessity in being an effective youth leader and he is willing to put in his time and effort towards service, selflessly providing his time and effort for the greater good of the society.
He is not only able to evolve and grow throughout the course of his leadership style, he has a fierce eagerness to learn and adapt. It’s not enough to just be willing to pay lip service to other people’s thoughts and ideas; he is open-minded enough to “listen, learn and change course” when new perspectives on a given situation are obtained. He has the ability to be self-aware, to be able to take a critical look at himself and know when to act or to fill a gap that may exist in someone’s repertoire. The other side of this same coin is that he has the ability to put himself in the shoes of other people.
However, he is a good and big dreamer; a staunch believer in DIG DEEP philosophy and Dawari’s 2023 political project, he is a big picture person who is able to see beyond the fog of day-to-day activities. This forward-thinking characteristic and ability of his is especially crucial when he tries to affect lasting social change, which is often a gradual and laborious process in which the ultimate objective might not even be achieved in a hurry.
In a nutshell, he is a rare gem that deserves the best possible opportunities to serve in the larger capacity or society to keeping delivering his best for the good and interest of the common man.
