Job Summary
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the sale of Gas products to customers (commercial, industrial, retail) and effectively managing customer relationships.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create awareness of product availability and actively pursues sales to both current and prospective commercial customers
- Communicate Gas prices to customers daily and follow up on their orders
- Liaise with Finance for prompt confirmation of customer payments
- Communicate approved customers for Loading to the Depot Operations Team
- Liaise with Gas Depot sales and operations team to ensure prompt customer loading
- Follow-up with the Logistics Manager / designated truck drivers to ensure hitch-free delivery of products to customer locations
- Monitor and report on Gas sales and stock levels across Filling Plants and Skids, daily
- Prepare daily Product Programming (Replenishment) Request for Gas Filling Plants / Skids
- Follow up with customers to ensure prompt collection of Trade Accounts Receivables.
- Process expenses (Imprest, capital expenses, approvals) for Gas Filling Plants
- Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly Sales Reports.
- Process expenses (Imprest, capital expenses, approvals) for Gas plants and skids
- Conduct and report on the survey of competitors’ prices daily.
- Manage relationships with relevant Government regulators
Person Specification
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Science, Management, Accounting, Finance or Engineering, or related discipline is required
- Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in the Marketing / Sales unit of an organization (in the oil & gas industry preferably)
- MBA or related Master’s degree is an added advantage.

Job Title: Station Cashier

Job Summary
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the petty cash inflow and outflow of Rainoil’s stations and depots as well as maintaining accurate records/books on transactions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Facilitate the availability of funds to meet day-to-day operational petty cash expenses and emergencies.
- Maintain records to allow easy disbursement, reconciliation, and replenishment.
- Process expense retirement ledgers to ensure proper accountability of all cash advances.
- Create and maintain records of cash requests and disbursements.
- Reconcile all received cash, which has been recorded in the petty cash book, with expenses.
- Process payment for accounts and issue receipts.
- Keep records of amounts received and paid, and regularly checks the cash balance against this record.
- Collects money from the bank for safekeeping before reimbursements
- File all documents concerning cash payment and collection
- Respond to queries regarding approvals, payment limits and deadlines for retirements, etc.
- Retire the various imprest accounts.
- Prepare daily and weekly collections and payment summary reports for review by the station supervisor.

- Monitor and report any over-dispensing error or equipment malfunction to the Plant Supervisor or manager and raises requisition for replacement where necessary.
- Ensure safe operations in the dispensing area in line with the HSE guidelines.

- Minimum of SSCE / WAEC as well as a vocational /Technical aptitude

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal, safe, and profitable operation of the Gas Plants, through effective utilisation of human and material resources.
- The selected candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the plant staff adhere to operating procedures and policies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure strict compliance with all Safety guidelines for the operation of the plant
- Coordinate Sales activities at the plants.
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to grow sales volumes and improve customer experience.
- Record and report on daily plant sales and operations activities (physical and electronic report), including Automatic Meter readings, pump meter opening and closing readings, Sales quantity, and lodgements.
- Enforce compliance with all housekeeping standards including dress code and cleanliness.
- Supervise product receipt in strict compliance with the defined procedures.
- Monitor and report on daily stock requirements.
Person Specifications
Required:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Engineering or a related discipline is required.
- Minimum of Five (5) years relevant experience in Gas Operations with functional leadership of at least two (2) years in a similar role.
