Maintenance Technician Trainee
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician Trainee who will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance and repair of tools and equipment according to HSE and Schlumberger standards, procedures, and practices.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring on-time delivery of equipment in line with operational demands.
- Maintaining assigned equipment according to the Technology Lifecycle Management maintenance program through adherence to Standard Work Instructions.
- Recording labor costs and equipment maintenance performance history (movements, parts used, and time to maintain) within maintenance business systems.
- Participating in the continuous improvement Lean culture, initiatives, and remedial work plans to enhance asset utilization and cost of service delivery.
- Contributing to continuous improvement efforts to reduce asset turnaround time, including minimizing downtime due to maintenance, parts, failure, and work-in-process.
- Ensuring job proficiency level matches the requirements for assigned activities based on the Technology Lifecycle Management competency management system.
Requirements
To be eligible, you must possess:
- A degree in any Engineering field of study (mechanical, electronic, electrical, etc.).
- No more than 3 years of post-graduation experience.
- Excellent working knowledge of English is mandatory.
- Location: Port-Harcourt, Nigeria.
