The Rivers State Judicial Service Commission established under section 197(1)(c) of the 1999 Constitution is the executive body that handles matters relating to the appointment, discipline and promotion of Rivers State judicial officers and their support staff .
It is headed by the Chief Justice of the Rivers State High Court.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions in the Customary Courts of Rivers State.

Qualification and Experience

      1. Applicant shall be a Legal Practitioner with not less than seven (7) years of post-call experience.
      2. Applicant must not be above 40 years or less than 35 years of age.
      3. Applicant must come from within the locality of the court.

Qualification and Experience

      1. Applicant shall be a Legal Practitioner with not less than seven (5) years of post-call experience.
      2. Applicant must not be above 35 years or less than 30 years of age.
      3. Applicant must come from within the locality of the court.

SalaryThe positions are pensionable. Salaries are in accordance with the Public/Civil Service Structure.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

        3. Date of birth, town, and local government area of origin.
        4. Current postal address including GSM phone number.
        5. Permanent home address.
        6. Marital status.
        7. Educational institutions attended with dates.
        8. Academic qualification(s).
        9. Work experience.
        10. Present employment, status, salary, and employer.
        11. Names and addresses of three (3) referees.
      2. Relevant credentials (academic/professional qualifications, etc.).
      3. Local government identification.
      4. Proof of age.
      5. Proof of completion of National Youth Service/or exemption.
